With the Haruto apple scene, I think Newton makes more sense. I think the Yedam scene with him breaking the egg was like a Damien reference with the whole the egg is the entire world and you must break out of it thing.

M.C. I thought the same thing with the apple. When the apple fell the first thing that popped in my head was Principia by Newton and his laws. Think this makes sense when tied in with the teaser theme of science. Should be interesting to see where Treasure and YG take this. You noted Demian and the egg. Just watched the first episode of I-Land and it starts out referencing Demian and breaking out of the egg. Guessing Bighit and YG both reading Hesse.

I dunno, I am still excited but I just find the "new world" motive so common lately.. but yeah.. trying new stuff with music might make sense even more bcs the blonde guy (Asahi) is known for composing music and he is the one discovering them in the microscope..
