about to burn through the rest of dating class. what should we watch next? leave suggestions in the comments.

also how do you feel about this: should we watch multiple shows at once? or only binge through one show and not watch another until we finish? for example

OPTION A: watch multiple shows at once. for example: mondays we watch dating class, tuesdays we watch descendants of the sun, wednesdays we watch etc. so a different show on different days and we watch the next episodes of that show on the same days next week?

OPTION B: just binge only one show and don't watch another show until we finish

I’ve been watching some Netflix ones but He Is Psychometric was great imo and it had Jinyoung in it!

I've been watching Hotel Del Luna. Great drama for sure 👌👌

What kind of dramas do you like, PD? I've been watching Hotel De Luna recently but idk what kind you're into

BaoziBang

Hotel De Luna would be great. Do you only want to watch Korean Dramas? Because I would honestly think it would be interesting to see your Reaction to a Chinese Drama like The Untamed.

Mando Vega

Watch Strong Girl Bong Soon! It's a really good Netflix kdrama!

Another good one I enjoyed a lot was Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. It's starts off kind of ehh, but it gets better (:

I've only seen a few dramas here and there so I can't recommend a ton.... Hotel De Luna has IU in it... so does Scarlet Heart... I really like her acting... Those were great, but I feel like most people will recommend those huge dramas like Weightlifting Fairy and Goblin so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Caitlin

Depends on the Genre - for crime I recommend Voice, Stranger and Bad Guys... Romance - hello my twenties, One Spring Night, That winter the wind blows. Historical - Kingdom (zombie FYI), Mr. Sunshine and Hymn of Death I would love to hear your opinion on Persona All of these are on USA Netflix’s...a ton more are on there. Don’t want to overwhelm anyone haha

Caitlin

Just korean dramas? What about Japanese or Chinese or Taiwanese or Thai...all options are on Netflix

It would be awesome to see you watch Sky Castle or The Heirs if you haven’t seen them. Also it would be fun if you checked out Woomanna the web drama with LOONA members. It’s really short, and while not the best thing ever, it’s really enjoyable to see the members in that setting.

Imma recommend hotel del luna even if i won’t be watching with you because everyone must watch hdl’s jieun. Same with my ajusshi, IU did great in both, y’all should watch it if you haven’t.

Joanne

I really liked the drama " kill it "with 장기용 it was really good and with action (and kind of a realistic ending that alot of people didn't like but I did)

I'm a basic bitch and I mostly like romantic dramas(I watch dramas to turn my brain OFF, not think harder lmao), so take my suggestions with a grain of salt 😅 I recommend Healer, Hotel Del Luna, Her Private Life, Search: WWW, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, My ID is Gangnam Beauty(that one has Cha Eunwoo from Astro in it).. Lovely Horribly is interesting too(it's horror-comedy-romance)

The ones I really liked were healer, while you were sleeping, children of nobody, the smile has left your eyes & just between lovers I lean more into the action/crime/Mystery side of things when watching dramas

He is Psychometric was really great and GOT7 Jinyoung was amazing in it! Another favorite of mine is Mad Dog and Are You Human? Some more shows outside of Korea would be Happy Birthday- https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLszepnkojZI66_EZKrdKUQoDJ8y5v9umQ The Untamed- https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMX26aiIvX5pYn98zge18X88sfeYbnhTr Unnatural- Sotus- https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMcISFepDTsGw1Cq9WTOf8NOz2gesu25n

Prison Playbook is fantastic if you're looking for a sort of long-form black comedy/drama. Reply 1988 is great too if you're looking for family-oriented types of stories. Live with Bae Seong Woo and Lee Kwang Soo is one I strongly recommend. It's a police drama that focuses on the Korean police rather than the crimes themselves. The only thing with these shows is that they do feel slow at times, if that's a dealbreaker for you

Ena

SKY Castle? That was a really big one in Korea if you haven't already watched it and I think it has SF9 Chani.

Fight My Way still remains my top drama of all time. Any of the Reply series is also good, but they can get a little long.

Hotel Luna or Korean Odyssey, the first is on my to watch list, the second i HIGHLY recommend with drama, ghosts, nonsense, and EPIC Also Because This Is My First Life - ALL of the crying. ALL OF IT. It's told from the perspective of a female drama editor and in the first episode the writing just takes the reins and doesn't let go.

Saoirse

Hwarang!!! Was rly good and I’m always down to watch beautiful boys, would also suggest Moon Lovers but I have a feeling most people have already seen it

Chicago Typewriter

Watch “My first first love” on Netflix, I just finished watching it with my friends and it’s so good, full of heart, good romance and it explores how it feels to become an adult and coming to terms with your parents’ faults

Marcel

My first korean drama i have ever watched was Stranger (Forest of Secrets). It was the best show i have ever seen BUT it has 0 romance so it might not be for you and the audience. Its just a very storyheavy corruption drama.

these are some korean drama's that I've watched that I loved watching! W two worlds apart: it's about a doctor with a cartoonist as a father and she gets pulled into the cartoon he makes. it has some action, romance and scary moments Just between lovers: is about 2 people who were in an big accident 10 yers ago and they meet and fall in love. strong woman do bong soon: it's about a woman who has is amazingly strong and the male lead hires her as his body guard to protect him from someone. weightlifting fairy kim bok joo: it's about a girl that does competetive weightlifting and she meets her elementary friend again in college who does competetive swimming. he's psychometric: a boy can see the past of people and things when he touches them, and with this he tries to solve an murder case that involves his parents. korean oddyssey: has a great romance story about a woman who can see ghosts/demons and let's a guy escapenot knowing what about their fate. It has a lot of action and scary moments what's wrong with secretary kim: i'm still busy watching this one but from what i"ve seen its a good drama

M.C.

The secret life of my secretary: It's a drama about a guy that is good at reading people who works at a phone company. He has a secretary that he fired after a year of her working for him, which he does to every secretary. Later when he tries to meet up with his friend, he gets attacked. After the attack he is diagnosed with face blindness and he can't recognize anyone's face- even his own. The only person he recognized is his secretary who wears the same red sweater everyday along with the same hairstyle. The Show can go from being serious and heartfelt to being kooky. The characters can be crazy but in a way that's entertaining. -------------------- Mr. Temporary: A lawyer takes on an attempted murder case of a female student. He defends a student charged with the case. Later, he disguises himself as a temporary teacher to find out who committed the crime. I just finished the first episode and I like it.

You should definitely watch Reply 1988. It focuses on a group of teenagers growing up in the late 80s/early 90s in korea. The thing I really like about this drama is it focuses on the family dynamics more than I've seen in any drama ever and its honestly so good??? It's probably my favorite drama ever.
