YES! Been waiting for this

For me the same members you mentioned stood out most. Like in my opinion for girl groups they have the best rap-line, so no surprise that the rappers killed it. But Rami and Chiquita really surprised me, too. Rami with her rap and Chiquita by her presence. How to deal with the fact that a 15 year old is cooler than I ever will be?

Just a small correction… Clik Clak WAS meant to be a pre-release, but YG changed it (probably planned to change it from the beginning) to a title track, therefore bringing back the “two title tracks thing”, which I wanted to happen with Like That. And… Same with Like That, Clik Clak is the more “western music/US focused Kpop song” as Like That was (both from the perspective of music production AND it being full in English). I was really curious for this song, because Yang Hyun Suk talked about it as of a full on hip hop song, where all the members rap and that a song had not been done like this under YG. And well, I am not so into the new school trap hip hop like this + the thumbnail made me think it will be a strong throwback to Jinusean/1TYM era, which… the music video definitely has its vibes, but the song itself not that much, like it lacks the 90s hip hop sauce. So because of this, it took me some time to be able to appreciate the song, because it rather felt like an intro song, which was spread to be longer to be a title track than originally planned title track/complete song. And then the album and the Clik Clak performance video made me appreciate it way more! Obviously it does not come close to Like That (comparing these two “US-focused songs”), but that will be HARD to beat in my ranking of their discography for a long time… What I was surprised the most was RAMI!! I mean, Yang Hyun Suk said early on Chiquita started to take rap classes + in the YG Documentary video focused on Sheesh they provided us her rap part of Sheesh, which did not make the cut, so I was not surprised by her at the beginning + her parts and Rora’s + Pharita’s are rather sprechstimme (the talk rapping) than an actual rap line. But Rami… WOW… like… the RnA of Baemon + Ahyeon still exists (RnA being the vital part of DNA), but I did not see any hints for Rami being this good in rapping! During the introducing videos Rora (as the other main vocalist of this group) was mentioned to be all-rounder, which made me think if they meant to hint she could rap too, but regarding Rami they have always presented her as the “Rosé of Baemon”, but nothing rap related! I wonder if she just managed to deliver these lines this good, so she just prepared as much as she could for this song or if she actually has rap position ambitions too!
