Yeah the angle on this stage was weird like a higher, looking down angle plus the lighting shading their faces differently it took me a while too, I don’t think it was bad but they have such a harsh stage light that like everyone’s cheekbone shading changed their face shape slightly

Jiyeons rapid development has very much impressed me, not that she didn’t have IT before but seeing her settling into an idol stage w a crowd performance like she can now lock in probably in a way she could from competitive dance; also YES I noticed her face felt so classic for some reason, like she looks young but her face is like an amalgamation of gen 1, I felt like the same with Dahyun of like OH you look like a lot of Gen THREE like Yoohyeon from DC and other idols that got that main vocal face 🤔 but in her own unique way; my opinion on Seoyeon is that she also looks Gen 2 classic beauty vs Chaewon who looks completely Gen 5 — I have theories ☠️ don’t get me started on Sohyun looking straight up out of specifically a late 2010s manhua and she looks too good with the igari blush makeup

So about the popularity of maknae line thing - yes it can be understandable because most international fans are very very hesitant to bias minors (with good reason) in general. Outside of the 'first' maknaes, Hyerin and Soomin, there has been such a huge outcry every time a new maknae got introduced (Yeonji, Joobin, SeoAh). It was honestly exhausting to be in the fandom during those times. But despite all that SeoAh, while being SUPER young (and causing the MOST fighting and controversy within the fandom when she was revealed), she is actually VERY popular now - in Japan! Something about her in particular, J-WAVs adore. I think as time goes on and the maknae line grows older, they will get their flowers! Every girl is so talented, how could they not.

i always say Sullins journey will be the closest to Seoyeons. no idol training at all and the story is that she was just cast by Jaden at a cafe in Bangkok. one of my favorite things about being a WAV and following tripleS has been that every time you see them, they have improved so much since the last time. so im very excited to see Sullins journey! and not PD not recognizing the queen herself 😂

Having the Japanese Pre-Release be OT24 was one of the best decisions haha The one you didn’t recognize was Xinyu 😂 I love ### (Hash) and I’m sure all the members had fun getting to sing Kaede’s famous “toripoesu” from her teaser 😂 but seriously if anything this song showcased everyone’s improvement, I think the line distribution between all 24 is more evident here than GND. There is a reason why Seoyeon is known as the fundamental S1 hha I love her growth. Seoah keeps proving why she was scouted despite her age, her talent backs up her deciding to start following her dream. I think a NO BRAINER unit they gotta do is the Maknae line maybe in a couple years, I can see it go off. Or honestly and Orange Caramel / WJSN Chocome unit would be hilarious, especially with Soomin 😂

PD. Japan Unit... S16 Mayu and S20 Shion was MH Picks... S5 Yooyeon and S11 Kotone was Japan Pick thru Lemino... Cosmo App Gravity Votes are S4 Chaeyeon S5 Soomin S21 Chaewon and S3 Jiwoo. So in all of unit that Chaeyeon is in Jiwoo is always with her. They are one of WAVS favorite Duo and you will see why when you get into Signals their duo name is MINTZ.

Japanese Unit are dubbed KREvolution. most of krystal eyes (S3 Jiwoo S4 Chaeyeon S6 Soomin) and most of evolution (S3 Jiwoo S4 Chaeyeon S5 Yooyeon S6 Soomin S11 Kotone S16 Mayu) are in Japan Unit.

About the members growth thing.. since 6 of them (7 if you consider QP) came from survival shows, I think it’d be fun to check out (or rewatch) some of their past performances some time, PD! You’ll really see just how far they’ve come as performers. Even though it doesn't exclusively focus on Yooyeon and Jiwoo, I'm still campaigning for PD to watch the epic 12 minute version of My Teenage Girl's signal song Same Same Different with all 4 age groups. Also she her journey in learning Korean. PD would notice Sullin not actually being fluent in Korean. She's my favorite. She's intentionally funny and is pretty much in her Jackie Chan era where her trying to speak and misinterpreting Korean is funny. We get to see her learn the language in real time compared to other foreign idols have learned the language during their training period.
