What you said about Soomin's potential; I think Jaden pretty much saw the same when Soomin was auditioning, paraphrasing a little bit, but he strongly said "We need to sign her immediately". I think it was according to his blog.

cool zoomin on soomin, i feel inkigayo understand dance stage better. I went to Evolution Tour in Melbourne last year, Invincible gave me goosebumps throughout the whole song. it was my first K-pop concert and it was eye opening & opened up something in me, I went to every K-pop concerts since then haha. Latest one is stray kidz and gidle is coming up soon. I'm glad TripleS is my first K-pop concerts.

Invincible has one of the hardest choreos it’s so technical and it matches well but it’s almost cruel that they also then have to sing so high too 😂 like imagine having to hit a falsetto while popping and locking — is it humanly possible for this song lol — but I think they do their best and find compromises/how to support their voices more as the stages go on, it’s incredibly harrowing to take on such a technical performance vocally and physically on top of having to express that duality and still they definitely show improvement even from stage to stage, I think the song prompted such a steep upwards learning curve that they stepped up to the plate for

The intro synth/horn section will always send me floating. I remember my jaw dropping when I first saw this choreo at the release. Props to their lead choreographer / dance teacher who’s been with them pretty much every step of the way! There’s something about Soomin, even since Rising that really caught attention, she brings an energy thay I don’t think anyone else can. I also remember being so baffled by some of the “fandom” back when EVOL and LOVE were chosen and people were saying EVOL doesn’t have a vocalist cuz Dahyun was on LOVE…. But I mean you have Jiwoo right there constantly upping her game idk why people kept wanting to deny her ability to potentially be a main vocal, also Naky and Mayu are in here (to be fair, this was Mayu’s debut so people didn’t know yet) but Jiwoo has always been getting better and better, glad people finally got the picture during Aria lol. (Also the special vocal GND video they filmed where it’s just Dahyun and Jiwoo performing the whole song…) Only the KRE members singing the Krystal Eyes line.. SO GOOD Man, these performance still give me goosebumps Aaaaand that’s why Naky is pretty much their dance leader during practices 🫡 I love that all the members get to perform the unit songs they weren’t a part of for festival performances and such when the whole group doesn’t go. Think about how much practice that is, all 24 members need to know pretty much every piece of choreo in tripleS’ catalog. God the band version is so goooood, Mayu’s voice 😭❤️

We have in this unit deep normal talking voice members like Yooyeon, Kotone and Yeonji singing high notes, but the one I was impressed the most when EVOLution debuted was Yeonji, I mean she is amazing here in her debut in tripleS and she surprised me even more in her first comeback with GND.... and i haven't watched her VV performances yet! I'm gonna watch them here with PD ofc, I just watched only once the HTF mv, so I'm excited.
