This song has so much potential, but the corny lyrics make it a bit underwhelming for me. Besides that, this is an amazing comeback

The lyrics were too easy! “I keep on track” and stuff like “red light green light” are very obvious aren’t they? Car for the body but a bike for the soul is one of the coldest lines but it doesn’t make sense fully! I really wish they had more lyrics like that and fleshed out that idea. BUT THE SONG IS SO GOOD 😭

I literally looked it up as well cus I always dug their writers. Their previous writers were RBW’s former MAMAMOO writers and this one was an American placement

I took that line to mean the Car = Safe and Grounded while Bike = free and untethered like the Bike is symbolic of them letting loose. Its kinda weird I was worried about the lyrics when I heard the song title but I actually ended up liking them...I understand you're perspective but also didnt really expect it lol.

I love this song and honestly, I don't care about the lyrics. The MV definitely needs some work. For the line ''car for the body but a bike for the soul'' - the way I understand it is you get a car for transport and to keep you safe, but if you get a bike it's for your soul and it's freeing. Something along these lines

Also a thought about the MV: it does seem like they didn't have a good budget or maybe a good team, but what matters to me is that the MV is nice to look at (good quality, colours, well shot dance scenes) so I'm still going to watch it. But something like Madein's MV that is ugly to look at - it could have amazing storytelling and scenes, but I'm not going to watch it. So as someone who knows nothing about MV making, this is kinda what I look for in a MV for it to enjoyable. But I completely agree with you, this MV is very lacking.

I just wish RBW would promote these girls better 🙃 I agree that it’s like they have ideas but they aren’t spending the time/money to fully commit to them. Which why they keep only releasing one version of their album still confuses me because that is not helping them at all. Their music is too good it makes me sad they aren’t more popular. I hope you check out the full album! Encore and Sweet Nightmare are soooooo good!

Man, Purple Kiss for me is one of the g roups where the whole album is always full of bangers. But then seeing their sales numbers become smaller makes me kinda anxious for the groups future. They easily have the talent und trhough RBW and their producers the songs. But the numbers at the moment aren't really good

I think budget (or effort/care) is a big issue when it comes to the mv tbh. The way the girls have talked about it they have a very clear image in mind (in line with Persephone or Eurydice when it comes to the greek myths), but the company just didn't do enough. And seeing their marketing in general when it comes to Purple Kiss (their SEO is in the gutter), I'm not all that surprised. As for the lyrics, I actually saw some biker shirts with the whole "car for the body, bike for the soul" saying, so it might have been some kind of homage to that. Still, for the beat alone, I think it's my favourite TT of theirs so far after Zombie. And the mini album this time is soooooo cohesive, and for them to FINALLY get to put out a concept like this around halloween is so satisfying to me (as someone who stanned them since 365 practice and who's supported Jieun and Goeun since PD48). It's a bit bittersweet, to be honest... I think this is one of their best mini albums so far, but to see their company put less and less effort into everything is so worrying... But anyways! Goeun's voice is MADE for rock! I might be biased because she has one of my favourite voices in kpop but her lines in the song are some of my favourite vocal lines in their discography so far. Her deeper register is just crazy. And honestly all of the girls' voices shined in this, in my opinion!
