A solid set of releases all quite different from each other. I watched ILLIT and then Aespa back-to-back and that was most certainly the very definition of Whiplash. Though I may be biased in saying that I'm most partial to the PK song. Looking forward to all the reactions.

Regarding aespa I am not sure how to feel… It is truly interesting approach for a comeback after Supernova & Armaggedon, but I am not sure if a song like this lends well on everybody. Also, I read an interesting theory that it is called “Whiplash” to make a low-key reference towards Bang Si Hyuk and his statement of him wanting NewJeans to step on aespa (as it was revealed through a chat between him and Min Hee Jin in the whole Min Hee Jin/New Jeans x HYBE case). But obviously that is just a random theory/thought…

Loved both!!! The illit concept for the song and video were super clever. And I am excited to listen to Whiplash over and over and pretend I’m on a runway. Haven’t listened to purple kiss yet tho

This is Aespa's best album after their debut one, in my opinion.

Aespa's title is a banger, Ningning specially got such a great verse ❤️ Illit's title is great as well! The song is mainly Minju and Wonhee but I'm not necessarily complaining about it, I hope the other girl got a chance to shine on the b-sides (which I'll listen when you drop the listening party)

2024 is aespa's year for sure. Also 82major dropped a song called Stuck for their new comeback a week ago. THE CONCEPT AND THE MV ARE SOOOO FIREEE, it's so fun and very unique. The title is amazing too, same goes for their bsides. Definitely their best comeback so far. if they gonna keep doing it like this, I might become a fan

Of those three I really like Whiplash. But I only listened to Purple Kiss's song once when it wasn't really fitting my mood - will certainly give it another try

The illit album is genuinely amazing for me and i feel like they’re rlly honing into their sound and vibe as a group. Minju definitely is at the forefront but Yunah also stood out to me personally. And i feel like you’ll love the music video

Purple Kiss deserves so much more recognition; I enjoy their title track a lot but agree that more could have been done with the MV storyline. The mini album as a whole is definitely worth a listening party though!

I'm so excited for Illit! It's such a cute and fun concept. Also, I'm not sure if you did any bonus drops for their magnetic era, but I would love to see your reaction to that. Aespa's Whiplash wasn’t really my kind of song, but the video is gag-worthy, haha. I’m sure you’ll have a field day with it. ;)

ABSOLUTELY LOVED AESPA'S COMEBACK- it was so runway coded and the music video was completely innovative and creative- incredibly entertaining!! A solid 10/10 for me

also when reacting to aespa's new album, listen to their solo trakcs- they were concert solo tracks but the fans loved them so much they were released offically by SM- I loved all their solos, all of them were too good!
