Hey y'all I was originally scheduling a reaction to "Atmosphere" live stage BUT apparently it will be releasing as an official B-SIDE for Visionary Vision's upcoming album so I'll be holding off to save myself of the spoilers and I'll check out the LOVElution stage after the album LP!!

GLOW is exactly like NXT, just a quick subunit to introduce the last 4 members. Only because of the timeline of releasing GND, it came afterwards instead. (also that Reels video WAS the "music video" - that came first) NXT = S17, S18, S19, S20 GLOW = S21, S22, S23, S24

So happy you noticed Chaewon as a great dancer here. It’s the exact thing I first noticed as well, which is why it’s so unfortunate this came out when it did. If it dropped earlier, I think she would’ve been a contender for the VV unit.

WOO! Listened to this song all summer with the windows down haha Honestly Seoah surprisingly has a strong aura when performing already! GLOW are the last 4 members (21-24) so essentially they got the same treatment as NXT’s Just Do It BUT GLOW did perform Inner Dance a couple times on music shows as a special treat. And again during concerts and such when they split into units to perform GLOW also gets their own spot with this song amongst AAA-EVOL. These 4 again got together before meeting the rest of the girls. It’s a trip to see Sullin in recent Signals and Lives now because her communication has grown a lot!! Love the scene of Jiyeon driving the girls haha, im not sure which members have their license but in one of Jiyeon and Seoah’s first live’s (with Seoyeon) both Seoyeon and Jiyeon were talking about having them. AND idk if you listened to the highlight medley for VV or if you’re saving yourself from spoilers for the LP, but omgggggg I feel like you’re gonna love it. I don’t think us WAVs are ready 😭❤️

It's no surprise Chaewon and jiyeon are such good physical performers....Chaewon is a 3rd degree black belt in hapkido and weapons martial arts and has been training for MAD LONG, she definitely has control over her body. Jiyeon is a ballerina (and as a ballerina uncle I know how crazy the training is) and one thing they practice A LOT is overexaggerated facial expressions (the people in the back of a concert hall needs to see the emotions on the face) so in addition to her own body control being a ballerina it's also no surprise she's as good as she is With TripleS bc the last 8 were a little rushed in comparison to the first 16, I don't think the public realizes how experienced/well trained some of the last 8 are and yeah, I think Jiyeon is the only member (or maybe one of like maybe 2 or 3) who has a drivers license. Since she was the last member, I think people think she's younger than she actually is. She's a 2004 so she's actually 9th oldest in the group-even older than Kotone, Chaeyeon, Yubin, and Jiwoo)

I'm glad and proud that PD named them after a few seconds into the video correctly. Jiyeon has a driving license, she drove herself to campus predebut, and Seoyeon too just got hers as well, so a future driving signal episode with these two is very likely. S1 and S24 the first and the last, driving adventures lol or something like that, they might make Jiwoo or Chaeyeon tag along, or at least I wish... would be fun...!

NXT and Glow are sub units, or properly named, Dimensions. I wish a comeback with these 2 units, like an EP for each, or maybe mix them both in an OT8 dimension (I always pray for REVOlution = NXT + Glow, it's just my dream)

unironically out of the subunit titles, this one is only below girl's capitalism for me. i'm really happy modhaus gave them a chance to do it on a music show special after they realized how popular it was when they totally could've sent ot24 to just do GND again. jiyeon and chaewon have crazy stage presence and seoah, despite being 14, has a very nice vocal tone and brings a really cute vibe to whatever she does. i'm sort of sad she barely missed out on the japanese subunit this time around since it's likely to be brighter/fresher, but it's likely for the best so she can focus on school. i think you can definitely tell sullin is the least experienced/refined out of all 24 members, but i really really enjoy her voice and i think as long as she applies herself she'll improve! i already saw improvement between this and recent performances of the song. i think she could sort of be one of the members who vocally gets used for lines that aren't necessarily challenging but are meant to draw attention ie felix/yeosang (i'm blanking on any gg idol who fills this role, but hopefully everybody gets it!) jiyeon has very quickly been added to a lot of the "popular member" teams that go to schedules because despite her inexperience, she's so fun to watch on stage and immediately caught peoples' attention. i loved watching her do girls capitalism!

The biggest take away I had from Inner Dance is WOW JIYEON I WANT TO HEAR MORE!! It was the first official thing we got to hear of her vocals substantially and also being able to significantly appreciate her performance ability LIKE WOW SHES FULLY BAKED THATS WHAT COMPETITIVE DANCE DOES FOR GOOD IDOL PREP

Yes any video that allows the idols to be fed gets props in my book lol — again, I’m not pressed it’s not a full sub-unit roll out of promotion (Let Sullin be in the country AT LEAST few months first☠️) bc I think the girls will benefit from a slower rollout, get them comfortable and more experience with less pressure also SeoAh needs to go to middle school right?? I DONT WANNA SEE THESE YOUNG GIRLS OVERWORKED !! So this seems like a better balanced system, giving the girls time while also focusing on quality vs quantity of product and not churning out things absent-mindedly, we got a quality song and that’s something they should be proud of

I think JYP said it on LOUD once that you can always tell when a dancer has experience as an athlete. They have an advantage and a level of power and control in their body that is just different from people who have trained a lot.
