Although I agree with the statement of pop culture changing people’s point of view, I have to say that YouTube creators like you (including you) changed/helped to shape my opinion about certain things. Therefore it is not totally pointless to do online content like that. But in your case I understand you don’t want to focus on that. I guess what I appreciate about people making PROPER content about things like that is making clear what is true and what is not. Because as you said, there are many (young) people, who just… I don’t know how to phrase it… they basically trust every bullshit and they don’t care about double checking nor about spreading misinformation… Regarding bonus drops I have a small suggestion! In case your opinion is spread throughout more videos related to each other (Young Posse’s latest bonus drops are the example of this), it would be good to mention in the title the order to watch them. It happened to me time to time that I just watch any of them and you said something related to the other video and then I found out I watch all the videos in random order 😅😅 Maybe you release them in the correct order and my patreon app shows it to me in a wrong order… that is also possible. But in case this happens to other people too, it would be helpful to mark the order regardless if you publish them in the correct order or not

I totally respect you wanting to stay out of the drama. I really am only online to keep up with Ateez since they're the only group I care enough about to do that, but I see a lot of drama because of it. I'm definitely a lurker so I rarely ever comment, even on Ateez stuff, but the shit that I've seen while being online... it's so messed up. It's so hard to stay impartial before you get the real story because people are so emotional and they refuse to believe that there can be more to the story. I know so much drama about groups I don't even listen to because fans try to make their feelings everyone's problem. Yes there are legitimate issues in kpop, yes there are problems that fans can and have solved, but there are a lot of things that fans try to influence that they should really just leave alone because as much as they don't believe it, there are things that they believe that are just stupid. I love Ateez too much to stay offline, but I absolutely respect anyone who chooses to stay out of everything

Oh well 🤣 I wanted to say that while Internet has become a vile place (we saw it so well with all the Riize stuff and I see it now in my fandom, with Shawol being at internal war with OT4, who want Onew out), I myself have learned to focus on the positives - on the music and the incredible people like yourself, PD. I am also so glad you've found Onew and fell in love with him - he truly is a form of therapy for me, so seeing your reactions to his music makes me feel proud and excited. Onew's music and his good heart are an excellent match to your vision for this incredible place you've created. Stay safe, PD 💖

As someone who also doesn't engage with general media and fandoms, I appreciate your perspective on your community spaces. I don't interact in many online spaces but I do interact here, and I think that is entirely due to the community and attitude you have cultivated on Patreon. Form Of Therapy is the name of your channel for a reason. Whether it's gushing over Kpop or discussing your films, the direction you have reiterated for the channel and the community is the exact reason I am here and will continue to be.

There are always going to be unbearable people on the internet....at least for the most part this community is pretty cool. Reddit on the other hand is the worst lately. Its impossible to have an opinion, and sometimes even if you agree with someone they fight you still. Its a weird time we live in. I definitely agree with your view on discussing these topics, while I always like to hear different perspectives, its not something you should feel pressed to discuss. Its not good for people's mental well-being regardless of how strong they are. I just suggest people to have an open-mind and dont believe everything at face value, do their research and then form their opinion...and please dont fight with one another. So yeh, I completely understand you wanting to avoid the drama, and even urge you to. Talk about the things that make you happy. Id much rather listen to a podcast discussing the finer points about the music you like/have been listening to. I come here to escape the drama lol, and I feel like bringing that here will just infect the community. That being said. Selfish request...I know October is a busy month, but I hope one day soon after you could do a series of Bonus Drops to catch up on CRAXY. I absolutely dont expect you to get to everything, but I do hope this gets Craxy back on your radar. They are amazing and criminally underappreciated. And well, you've missed out on a lot. Requiem, Real, and Undercover are more proper MVs, Lion is a Performance MV, and Butterfly is an animated MV. ... Poison Rose -Single only ... XX -4th Mini Album (8 songs - TITLE TRACK: Nugudom) Absolutely amazing album. A turning point IMO for their sound as its more refined. Also with a song like Nugudom, they had a point to get across. If nothing else I recommend this album as a return point if you don't want to catch up with everything all at once. And I also recommend the track CYPHER (Position) that also came with an MV. Song is a pure showcase of their skills. Unfortunately, this is also when Chaey was removed from the group. Yes removed, and we still don't know why. ... NO LIMIT -Single only ... RE_ -1st Single Album (3 Songs - TITLE TRACK: Stupidz) (I don't know why this is labeled 1st Single Album, cause I'm pretty sure its at least their 3rd lol) Really cool comeback, and was actually more fun to see performed live. ... MASQUERADE -Pre-Release Single only Still waiting for whatever this was a pre-release for since they dropped it before the tour. So hoping for a full comeback soon.

You’re right about the order, the issue was on my end! I schedule all the bonus drops to go out at the same time which means they come out in random order. Also why I want to start doing bonus drops on a more random regular basis than just stacking once a week. And I actually had this thought before and yeah I might start chronicling my reactions viewing/filming order!

I still believe there is positive things to come from the internet and want to lean towards optimism!! But Yeah I’ve had to completely remove myself from reading comments and it gets hard bc it’s what the algorithm feeds on, I try to scroll past the comment section on yt bc it automatically shows comments now and it’s hard for text not to catch your eye and it’s usually a random commenter that doesn’t have any likes but it’s so negative — this is across all types of media and content — it is hard to build up that wall of protection when the algo, especially YT, just thrive on showing it to u i.e. searching ANYTHING into the searchbar and getting MAYBE the top relevant response but the rest is just scrolling past so many videos and shorts of “unpopular opinions” (which I knew was going to end up bad back in its popularity in 2019) that is thinly guised hate and clickbait gossip channels that regurgitate news from Reddit, it’s so draining and it’s mind boggling even when you’re trying to avoid — which is all to say: I APPRECIATE THIS PATREON

I have a separate YT account where I specifically do not watch K-Pop because I could no longer bear seeing those YT shorts. The unpopular opinions thinly guised as hate and clickbait gossip channels jut being shoved in my face on my main YT's algorithm is too much. Before knowing how hate fueled they are I checked them out on occasion because I thought they were actually thoughtful videos but after how much they truly bothered me on a deeply human level, not only do I not watch it, but seeing it come up and suggested to me, simply being reminded that it exists is enough to bother me. Thus a completely second YT account -.-
