OAD is pretty much the same as OVA (Original Video Animation - bonus/non-canon episodes related to short stories), but with the only difference that OAD is released on DVD, since it apparently stands for Original Animation DVD.

Your statement of liking this opening the most reminded me a question/suggestion that once we end this show, I would like to know your ranking of all the openings, but in the full versions… to be able to appreciate the songs to its fullest! It would be cool if you could make something like a “listening party bonus drop” for it 😅😅

🤔🤔 Curiosity plays a big role there for sure, because I personally struggled a lot, when I made my ranking. But besides that… another factor/reason is the lyrical aspect and the depth it gets, when you listen and read the lyrics after the show is over. Mainly the songs done by Linked Horizon (until now only the strongly different one in the first half of season 3 was done by someone else, but all of them were done by Linked Horizon and although two next ones are not done by Linked Horizon, the very last one and to that the very last song for the ending scene is done by them again). Revo (the man behind Linked Horizon) makes references to things that were about to happen in the future and actually with the very last ending, it makes a full circle to this opening here and to the whole story too 😅😅 Then he creates really unique wordplays thanks to kanji. For the lyrics he uses more options of kanji signs for the word there and it creates double meanings. I could continue like this on and on. So I will only say that some of the openings in their full version have really interesting change-ups as if it was a song for NMixx! 😅 Plus obviously while listening to the songs properly and having your mind more focused on the music itself, you find out more details about the songs.
