It was graduation day, and Kate was finally finished with her four years of studying away from home. The four years of isolation, far from her loved ones, had been an exciting journey that she had enjoyed. As she walked across the stage to receive her degree, a sense of accomplishment washed over her, and she couldn't help but smile as she looked out into the sea of proud faces in the audience.

Sadly, as she dealt with her own problems, her friend Jade decided to drop out of college. The two maintained a strong friendship despite the limited communication that followed Jade's withdrawal, but Kate always felt a pang of sadness for her friend. She often found herself wondering what Jade was doing and how she was faring.

Just when Kate thought she would never see her friend again, Jade surprised her by showing up at Kate's graduation out of the blue. It caught Kate off guard, seeing Jade in person after such a long time. Her friend had changed, and not just in terms of her absence from college. Jade was now a chubbier girl with a lot more acne than Kate remembered.

Something else seemed a little off about Jade's visit. She clutched an unusual hand mirror as the two spoke to each other in the bathroom. They had come together for a bit of a chat and to catch up before the graduation dinner, but Kate couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. She exchanged pleasantries with Jade, but her mind was preoccupied with the strange mirror.

Just as their conversation began, Kate caught a glimpse of Jade in the mirror, while Jade caught a glimpse of Kate in her own reflection. It was an odd occurrence that sent a shiver down Kate's spine. A short while later, the mirror started to glow, and it focused its beams directly on their faces. Kate felt a strange rush of energy coursing through her, making her moan in surprise.

As Jade (now in Kate's body) stumbled to keep her balance, the mirror shattered on the floor, and the two girls fell to the ground. Kate was disoriented and confused, her mind racing to make sense of what had just transpired. An awful laugh came from her own body, but it was not her friend's voice.

"Oh, this is too great," the impostor said with a sinister grin. "I knew that this would be the best way to take a bit of a shortcut."

Kate's heart raced as she struggled to comprehend the situation. "W-What did you do?" she asked in her friend's heavier body.

The body thief continued to smirk. "I swapped our bodies," she explained coldly. "I found this little mirror at a magic store. Don't worry, I'll take good care of your body. I just didn't want to go through all that wasted time. I would have hated to actually try hard. I already knew everything that I needed to know - I just needed that piece of paper. And guess what? Now I do. And MORE."

Kate's mind whirled with fear and anger. Her graduation day had taken an unimaginable turn, and she now found herself trapped in her friend's body, while her own had been stolen. She had no idea how to reverse the spell or if it was even possible, and sadly for her, she would never find a way to take back her beautiful body. Jade now had everything – a hot boyfriend, a degree, and a body that anyone would die for…
