Chantelle removed the VR headset with a smirk on her face. But that smirk vanished the moment she realized that she was sitting in an unfamiliar room. Her heart began to race, and as she stood up from her chair, she felt a pang of pain running up her leg. She fell to the ground and saw that her hands were dark. Age spots covered her dark skin as she winced and struggled to get up. Her joints were on fire, and when she stared at a nearby mirror, she let out a shriek.

The person staring back at her was not Chantelle. It was an elderly man with a face full of wrinkles and a body that was frail and withered. Her long hair was now gray and short, and her eyes were sunken in. She looked like she hadn't eaten in days.

Chantelle didn't know how long she had been in this room, but she needed to get help. "This … can't … b-be … can't be … hap-happening," she croaked with her deep voice. She went to the nearby door and opened it. Stepping into the hallway, she could see multiple old people being wheeled around in wheelchairs.

What caught Chantelle's attention were the beautiful nurses that smiled at her, and the hardening between her legs. She would later learn that she was trapped in the body of Albert, an elderly ex-criminal who could barely communicate. Nobody would ever know that she was a woman trapped in a man's body, even if she managed to get the attention of one of the cute nurses who loved to tease him with her seductive voice.

Meanwhile, the real Albert was enjoying his new life. He was ecstatic when he learned that his VR headset had somehow placed him in the body of one of the players he had killed during a PVP event. The headsets were donated to the retirement home as a way for seniors to feel connected to the world again. His smelled like smoke, but he used it to play a game that made him feel like he was in a medieval fantasy. Once he took the headset off, he was surprised to see himself in a rich girl’s mansion home. When reports of body swapping happened to show up on TV, he was afraid that people were going to find out what had happened.

He didn't want people to learn that he was actually a man trapped in a 20-year-old college girl's body. But as time went on, he realized that nobody would ever know what had happened, because his old body could no longer communicate. He had suffered a stroke nearly fifteen years ago, and his mind had been deteriorating ever since.

A patch ended up fixing the body swapping problem, and he went on to start over again as a college student. As an ex-criminal, he loved the fact that he could be whatever he wanted now. In the past, he had troubles in school, and it wasn't until he was in his forties when he started to love learning. Learning the arts was a passion of his, and since Chantelle was an English major studying philosophy on the side, he knew that he was in the right body at the right time. And the scholarship she had to basically go to school for free was a massive plus.

Getting used to his new life wasn't easy. Periods, boys, and drama were all over the place. He couldn't believe Chantelle had a life like this. But the more he ventured around campus, the more comfortable he became and learned to love life again. Years behind bars made him realize that he had wasted so much time, and a simple VR glitch had given him a chance to make things right again. The more he interacted with Chantelle's roommates, like Kelly and Maggie, the happier he became.

He enjoyed the security of friends who wouldn't stab him in his sleep. Socializing was apparently not one of Chantelle's strong suits, so when people started to notice that Chantelle was becoming the life of the party, he realized that this VR glitch was the best thing that could have ever happened in his life.
