Kylie took a deep breath and made the biggest decision of her life. She dropped the folder containing every detail about her most recent procedure into the fireplace. Mike held her other hand tightly in his own while they both gazed at the embers rising from the ashes. Kylie was a 70-year-old woman with a long list of health problems that made it nearly impossible to function. And after having an opportunity to temporarily swap bodies with 21-year-old Alice, she realized that there was so much more to life that she wanted to experience.

Kylie smiled at the burning flames, still not used to feeling this way as Mike kissed her cheek. She had never felt such intense sensations before in her entire life. Mike's lips were soft, sending tingles through her whole body. “It’s done,” he whispered in his low, deep voice.

“She’ll never get this body back,” Kylie said. “She’s going to be so pissed.”

“Good, she had it coming,” he said while kissing her once more. “You wear her body much better anyway.” The thought of actually stealing Alice's body should have made her feel worse than it currently did. Yet the friends she met made her realize that people strongly preferred Kylie in the young woman's shoes. Alice was a classic high school bully, and after starting college, her personality never improved or changed. She never truly grew out of high school, and when Kylie realized that people were actually intimidated by her, she started making all sorts of changes to her life. 

Eventually, she knew that people were better off with Alice no longer in control, so she made the ultimate decision to erase all proof that the swap even occurred. And with Mike's help, she knew that she would be successful. Prior to burning all the records that they had stolen from the body swap clinic, Mike gave Kylie a book of printed out files for her to read. They were of everything on Alice's social media accounts, and it was a nearly perfect collection of her hobbies, life, and passions.

Kylie didn't regret her decision one bit. In fact, she was grateful that Alice had made the terrible choice of bullying and belittling others. It was through this that Kylie found herself in a far more exciting and youthful body than she could have ever imagined. And with Mike by her side, she knew that she could finally start living the life she had always dreamed of.

Of course, by the time Alice realized what was going on, it was already too late. The body swap clinic's volunteer staff had no records of the swap happening despite the swap only occurring two weeks ago. She wanted to get extra volunteer hours and a chance to make some extra cash for her backpacking trip in Asia, but instead, she lost everything. The worst thing about it all was that most of the staff were fully aware of what had happened. Because Alice had been so rude to them prior to the swap, nobody wanted to deal with her.

When Alice approached them and demanding answers, they simply shrugged and told her to take it up with Kylie. So, she tried to search for her body thief, but no matter how hard she looked, she couldn't find her. And without proof or any evidence that the swap had even occurred or help from the clearly hateful staff, she was left with nothing but a bitter taste in her old body’s mouth.
