“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” Lorne said with his young, female voice. He nervously ran his fingers through his blonde hair. He frowned at himself in the mirror. He’d gone from a frail man to a shapely woman.

But to him, the timing couldn’t have been better.

When Lorne approached his seventies, he found that he was feeling more and more afraid of death. He longed for the vitality and energy of his youth, and he found himself fantasizing about his earlier days. He was a veteran who taught physical education in high school for most of his life. Upon retiring, he lived a lonely life with nothing but a string of divorces to look back on. Lorne missed his youth and regretted so many things that he did or didn’t do.

So when he stumbled upon an online listing for a mysterious necklace that promised to allow him to switch bodies with a younger person, Lorne knew that he had to try it. He had always been a bit skeptical of magic, but he was desperate to feel young again, and he figured that he had nothing to lose when he placed the online order.

It took nearly two months to arrive. It came in a mysterious black box that felt warm to the touch. As he slipped the necklace over his head, Lorne felt a strange sensation wash over him. It was as if his consciousness was being pulled out of his own body, and into the body of a young man. He was thrilled by the feeling of strength and vitality that flowed through his veins, and he couldn't wait to see what his new body could do.

But as he looked down at himself, Lorne realized that something had gone horribly wrong. He wasn't a young man at all - he was a young woman, with long, flowing blonde hair and a slender, feminine figure. He was shocked and terrified, and he couldn't believe what had happened. He searched the apartment for clues to see who he’d become, and he was shocked to discover that he was in Alicia White’s body.

She was a single woman with a long history of living alone, much like himself. As he struggled to come to terms with his new identity, he decided to physically go back to his apartment. He took the key from beneath his doormat and entered the apartment, but Lorne realized that the necklace was gone. All that was left was an empty, old body. He hopped onto his computer and tried to find the listing for the necklace he bought, but he couldn’t find anything in his search history. He had no way to switch back to his old body, so he was going to have to get used to his new life.

“Well … I guess I’d better learn more about who I am,” he whispered in defeat.
