Part 2

The summer sun glowed against Madeline’s youthful skin while her husband brought over a glass of wine. She couldn’t believe how easy it was to keep the weight off. Working out was always such a chore, but Chelsea didn’t have any issues with staying in shape. “Thank you,” she said sweetly upon taking a sip.

Seven months had passed since Madeline stole Chelsea’s young body. She savored every single day as if it were her last. Triston, who had possessed Chelsea’s boyfriend, helped her with every step of the way as they transferred all of their assets successfully to their younger selves. Chelsea and Jasper were young, fit, and healthy, but they lacked the wealth they needed to truly enjoy their lives.

But Madeline and Triston had it all. Unfortunately, they were too old to enjoy the wealth they’d accrued. Thankfully, after gaining the means to transfer their souls into new bodies, they made extensive plans to make sure they could keep everything. They wrote wills and created personal corporations to help transfer much of their wealth. Roughly 60% of their wealth was placed into multiple companies, while 40% remained with Chelsea and Jasper while they remained trapped in a long-term care home. Once everything was taken care of legally, Madeline and Triston went abroad to enjoy themselves while they waited for their old bodies to pass on. She couldn’t bear to murder her young, silly neighbor, so she wanted to wait it out. Of course, Chelsea and Jasper would be unable to communicate or move thanks to their poisonous potions.

And as they spent their young lives together on their very own yacht, Madeline got a fateful text message. Triston seemed to know what it meant as well as they smiled mischievously at each other. “It’s about time…” Madeline whispered.

With their lives permanently guaranteed, they could finally relax and live the marriage they’d always wanted.
