Jacob felt so small as he walked through the mall to buy new clothes for himself.  Life was so beautiful, especially after living in a wheelchair for nearly twenty years. After losing his mobility during a military deployment, Jacob lived miserably. He constantly cried and suffered. He couldn't live without the assistance of his parents until an opportunity to escape his crippled life came to him.

A company offering brain-transfer services asked him if he'd like to take part in an experiment. He agreed, but he didn't realize that the only donor that was compatible with his brain was a 23-year-old female who became brain dead after an accident. The girl had been an enthusiastic and lively girl who loved the world around her. He remembered how painful it was for the company to shove their wires and needles deep into his skin. They took his brain out and put it in his new body. He slept there for almost two weeks before he was finally set free.

And when Jacob started living life to the fullest again in her young body, he didn't really care about being another gender. He didn't care that people were going to be calling him Jane either. Jacob found himself loving the looks he got from people as he walked through the mall. He realized that he had found a newfound passion for life when he stopped in front of his favorite store. He began trying on dresses and exploring what the store had to offer when he stopped in front of a mirror to admire himself. He spent so many years remembering the hell he experienced overseas, but now things were different. Jacob had a second chance at life, and that made him smile.
