“It’s the necklace,” Fiona realized. “It’s coming from the necklace!” By the time Fiona could pull the golden necklace off her neck, she felt her arms and legs stiffen. Her lips curled into a smile, and suddenly the spirit was back in control again as the necklace fell to her feet. “Wow, that took way too long,” her voice said. “I’ve gotta say. I was worried that you were going to take the necklace off before I could take control at just the right moment.”

Fiona’s body moved to a nearby bathroom mirror, and her evil smile sent chills through her mind. “Yeah, I’ve been waiting for you to be conscious enough. I can’t take control over a body until that happens. Everything Is temporary … until I take control while you try taking it off.”

Fiona was completely conscious and aware of what was going on, which was in contrast to what she’d been experiencing before. For the past two days, Fiona was struggling with black outs and waking up in random parts of the house. She didn’t realize that it was a spirit taking control over her body and walking around the house.

The strangest thing was that Fiona had looked at the cameras. It looked like she was doing chores. She washed dishes, did the laundry, and lounged around the living room. It wasn’t until her mind slowly began to become aware of what was happening. She’d was being haunted by a ghost sealed inside the very necklace her boyfriend bought for her. Unfortunately, she realized this too late and didn’t take the necklace off in time.

“Yeah, does it feel like I’m getting quieter? It’s because you’re slowly becoming one with my soul. Once you’re gone, I’ll be a permanent fixture.” Her possessed mouth let out another laugh. “I won’t do anything weird with you around. Don’t worry. Even I have morals.” The spirit stuck her tongue out and skipped down the hallway.
