Hi my friends and supporters! I’ve just returned from vacation and I’m now trying to catch up with things.

This is the video we have scheduled for release this coming Sunday as part of the returning Mentour Super-weekend!

It’s a bit darker than usual but it should give you a good overview of what “project Dragonfly” is and what it might possibly mean for us pilots.

As always, I would love to feet your feedback. Let me know what you think and any suggestions you might have.

Best regards! //Petter

Is “Project Dragonfly” the End of Pilots?!

Visit our sponsor https://betterhelp.com/mentournow today to receive 10% off your first month of therapy ----------------------------------------------------- What is the Airbus Dragonfly project? Well, for me personally it is something that comes with a lot of contradicting feelings. On the one hand, it involves fascinating technology, that could create tools that would really help pilots maintain situational awareness and reduce our workload. On the other hand… these same intriguing technologies could bring changes to the industry that NO pilot that I know wants to see. I’d much rather have two human pilots during all phases of flight regardless of how advanced the technology becomes. I’m all for anything that can improve safety and help the pilots but I never want to see single pilot let alone no pilot passenger aircraft. Great video. “I can’t do that Dave…..”

As you say a lot of the cutting-edge stuff happens in GA or private, some of the Gulfstream, Dassault fleet have a serious synthetic vision system that allows zero vis landing, and the G1000/3000 Garmin kit now allows auto throttle and autoland on many GA aircraft and they just announced a retrofit to many of the Beechcraft KingAir models.
