Hi again my friends and supporters!

I’m still in Dubai but Sandra is finishing up the packing now and we will go back to Spain tonight.

Here comes your exclusive preview of tomorrows release on the Mentour NOW channel. It’s a deep-dive into the history behind one of the most well recognised aircraft ever created.

I hope you will find it as fascinating as I did.

Have a great weekend my friends and let me know what you think.

the Aircraft NO ONE Wanted! (But everyone copied)

Check out the *NEW MentourApp* here: https://app.mentourpilot.com/ featuring *"Aidan",* your new AI co-pilot! What do you think when you look at pictures of an old 707? It’s not as cool as a 747, or as iconic or graceful as the Concorde. It’s not as impressive as the Comet, even. What the Boeing 707 definitely IS, is… VERY familiar. Because, without question, this aircraft and the 367-80 that spawned it, literally defined the shape of jet-powered commercial aviation as we know it, to this day – starting 70 years ago. Stay tuned! Great video! I like to hear about how and why we get the planes we are getting. I knew about the barrel roll, but not about the 0 orders ;-)

The 707 was a beautiful plane! Two questions: 3 of the 4 engines have an "inlet" atop the engine cowling. Why? Also, I saw vertical slats on the wings that a pilot called "vortex generators." I thought the less vortices the better?
