Hi my friends!

I have not forgotten about you. This preview will be a bit short I'm afraid because I have left the channel without update for too long.

I am working a bit more now so I don't have as much time to film as many videos as I would like to.

Your contribution is very important to me and it has helped the channel to evolve a lot. Hopefully you have noticed that the sound quality has improved, thats due to YOU!

I will start posting credits again soon but the next 4 videos are done with a specific purpose and will not include any credits.

Thanks again, as always, tell me what you think of the video!

Have a great evening!

Aircraft Emergency procedures - TCAS

In this episode I will give you a brief explanation about TCAS. I will talk about how the system works and how the pilots are trained to respond to it to avoid mid-air collisions. Enjoy! Welcome! On this channel you can expect video-blogs, technical instructions, flying techniques and much more about the wonderful world of commercial aviation and the life of airline pilots.

Nice vid as always Petter. Did my fourth ILS/DME, but this time to 200' AGL today as part of my IR. Interesting winds with 30kts aloft under some towering CB. Still, seemed to work ok. Also, out of interest, does anyone here (I'm suspecting Petter doesn't get a choice!) know if Jeppesen plates are worth buying, or if the AIP ones are good enough? Seems quite expensive for a slight re-working of already available information. Finally, I love your wonderful rendition of the TCAS accent :)

Hi Neil! Great to hear that your IR is progressing well. It's good fun isn't it? In my opinion Jeppesen does a good job but, as you say, if you already have a working plate provider I'm not sure it's worth the money. We used to use Jeppesen but since around 2 years back we are now using Navtech. Same thing, different layout. Have a great day! //Petter
