Hi:-)

Just wanted some feedback from you concerning the way enemy encounters are handled. As you may have noticed, enemies on the new map sections are now visible and will approach and attack you, once they spot you. On older maps enemies are invisible and you'll be attacked at a random time by a random enemy.

Personally I prefer the new setup with visible enemies, since it adds some life and predictability to the map sections. I am therefor considering adding this system to older maps as well. But before I do that I'd like to know what you prefer.

I completely agree with you, when you write: "Personally I prefer the new setup with visible enemies, since it adds some life and predictability to the map sections..." Sometimes you want to farm enemies for XP and loot. Other times you just want to get to point B from point A and avoiding enemies is much prefered. It's really more of an annoyance getting attacked by a single green goblin, than anything else in the (current) late game. The dosens of spider encounters, for when you need to get more spider eggs, are also quite annoying in the late game. Giving one the option to avoid them is a good thing imho. The map also feels more alive (and dynamic) as you previously mentioned, when you can see the enemies.

I pretty much came to the same conclusion myself. When you are actively hunting for goblins, it's ok. But later on when your mostly concerned about getting to your destination, it gets a bit annoying.
