Slow is best when the results are as fine as this. I don't think Dee has ever looked so voluptuous or enticing as she does here. An exquisite and mature piece! The way the values play off each other creates a sophistication that perfectly complements Dee's character well as she reclines amongst her wares, offering up not only her products but a fantastical experience to go along with them. Her eyes and face speak volumes. And what a great use of the white of the bristol to indicate the spotlight she is sitting under...well done. Indeed, well done on all fronts, and an exemplary example of just how fine the products of patience can be...a payout more than well worth waiting for. Bravo!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked this one, I think a lot of things went right this time. I know I've drawn Dee perched on her display case more than once in the past, but I was pleased that this one still feels fresh and new to me.
