Patreon Writing Contest – Female Edition (Patreon)

Write a prequel, sequel, spin-off, companion, etc, of any one of my stories featuring a female main character. Story must be between 1,000 and 5,000 words in length.

Prizes:

1st Place: $150 cash prize
2nd Place: $60 cash prize
3rd Place: $30 cash prize

Submissions will be posted on my patreon page with anonymous pennames attached. All patrons will then have access to a 2-week poll to determine the winning stories. After voting has closed, all author identities will be revealed.

Timeline:

2 August -  30 September: Submissions
1 October - 31 October: Submission Postings
5 November - 19 November: Voting
20 November: Author Reveals

Guidelines:

-This contest is open to anyone who is a patron (in any tier) on the date of their story submission.
-As much as we all love art, that would give an unfair advantage. Submissions should contain writing only.
-Characters must be 18 or older.
-Stories that can potentially violate internet laws or Patreon Community Guidelines will not be accepted.
-Only one submission per participant.
-To avoid authorship disputes, your story cannot be or have been posted anywhere else online prior to the contest. After the contest is over, you are free to post your story wherever you like.
-Do not use my writing content in your story. Contest submissions are meant to be your original writing.
-No plagiarism.
-Except for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-place prizes, participants are not entitled to any sort of compensation.
-Prize payments will be sent through Paypal.

To Submit: Send a message to me on patreon. I will forward you an email address to which you can submit your story. Send stories as .doc & similar file attachments. You can even paste the story text in the body of the email. Do not send submissions as google docs, PDFs, HTMLs, links, or in strange or esoteric file formats.
