October FFXIV Art Party: Halloween Special! (Patreon)

My lovely Artlings of Light - I'm so pleased to invite you to this month's extra special FFXIV Art Party! If you hadn't guessed, it's gonna be Halloween themed, so please don your best cosplay and come ready for some spooky shenanigans!

I wanted to make this party a little more special, so in addition to our usual arting and chatting, I have planned two special events:

Costume Contest: Can you manage to pull off the most original, unique or flat out hilarious cosplay of the night? We shall be the judges of that! Come garbed in your best attempt and walk the stage to be scrutinized by your peers.

Talent Show: Think you can play an instrument? Orchestrate a dance routine? Kill it with comedy? Put everyone to sleep with slam poetry? Do your best! Or your worst! All is valid!

There will be prizes for the winners of these events, such as Mogstation or ingame items and these will be decided by a jury panel on the day. Please note however that participation is optional and open to everyone. You can participate in one, both or simply be a spectator.

So with a week to go, best get to preparing!

What's an Art Party?

An art party is simply an in-game gathering of characters at a specified location - usually a private house - where we all hang around, take screenshots of each other, draw surprise sketches and mingle. These events are very chill and a good way to get to know the community and get involved in something fun!

You do not have to be an artist to attend this event. As long as you're part of this server you are welcome to attend. You might also bring a friend or two from outside of the Patreon, but please note that the event is mostly private and so I'd request you do not publicise it openly.

Lastly, you are more than welcome to bring an alt that looks like your character and share images of their true appearance in art-refs for those of you migrating from other servers.

When and where?

• When: Sunday, 10 October
• Time: From 8pm BST (9pm GMT+2 | 3pm EDT | 12pm PST)
• Where: The Goblet, Plot 59, Ward 12 (Goblet Southwest subdivision)
• Server: Mateus, Crystal DC

The event is expected to last aprox. 3-4 hours depending on attendance.
