How does hanging work if they are all superhumanly strong? Hanging works by breaking the spine. The axe makes sense.

Chapter was mostly good but the dismissal of black powder weapons as a possibility was rather hamfisted IMO. If they have months and months to prepare their forces than they could definitely get blackpowder made in some significant quantity. They'll certainly need a whole lot more than guerrilla tactics and some improved spells to defeat a determined enemy with a "decisive" force.

Not to contradict ya or anything, but i would just like to point to the Vietnam war. In some scenarios, army numbers kinda putters off. I do agree with you tho, guns were rather quickly thrown out the metaphorical window, which i somewhat get, since there has been traveler shenanigans before with dire results.

Heres to dismiss black powder. Fantasy world skill enhancers (class) doesnt yet exist for it. And anyone with any amount of red mana can cause you to have a very bad day

Grey mana might be more effective since its Air. Red should be fire, but I don't think it necessarily equates to explosions.

Funny how i overlooked the discussion for BP. x) Whats the use of that? You have magic, and you have flour, or stuff like high flammable oils. A thermobaric bomb is much easier to make and use when you have magic. Can even be used by people who are not spellcasters, dosnt need long preparation and you are not in danger that the enemy 'red mage' (prince gf!) just saturates the are with red mana to blow up the mines.
