Man, I'm blown away by this show again. Super excited they're keeping this tone of a slow burn. It keeps that balance of moving things forward but leaving things to breathe when they should. I've always wanted more of Rhodeys character, a lot of that probably being due to Don Cheadle having such a strong presence on screen. Even when he hasn't had much to say in some movies, I've been drawn to him and I want to see him in the spotlight. The scene with Fury and Rhodey was my favorite part of the episode. Rhodey being with the government and constantly holding this almost prideful professionalism when he's just serving his country, is really interesting. (I also can't wait for Armor Wars, Greg 🤣) I really am liking Gravik as well. I couldn't really pinpoint what it was, but Coy definitely said it best. That calm confidence, plus his malice. This is how to do righteous rebels. They're right, but in one way or another, they're wrong as well. I love how this actor who plays him has that face. When he's clearly satisfied that he's getting his payback against Nick, but he's not smiling. This malice isn't like your ordinary evil villain who laughs at the evil shit they do 😅 He's silently enjoying it, like most people do in life when they take revenge. I'm praying they can stick the landing 🙏 but even if it does fall short, I already am a huge fan of the unique flavor this show is giving off. Haven't felt this with any of the other Marvel shows so they're definitely doing it right so far!

I absolutely love Kingsley Bin-Adir (Gravik) as an actor. There’s some kind of special charisma he brings to his roles that draws you in, and this is no exception. Anyways, yeah can we talk about all the amazing dialogue in this episode?? 👏
