Episode Synopsis: Shawn and Gus find themselves caught between two rival Chinese Triad families as they search for one of the leader's abducted daughter.. Meanwhile, Shawn's father Henry joins the police department in charge of the "consultants" - Shawn and Gus, and Juliet deals with the lingering, traumatic effects of her kidnapping in last season's finale...

I love Jackie Chan and this was a great homage to him! We had a Hitchcock tribute in the S4 finale, and we had a Jackie Chan tribute in this S5 premiere.😊 You'll DEFINITELY have to do the Psych movies!! I don't care if it'll take 2, 3 weeks to put it out cause it'll be more to edit, but they area very canon and extending the Psych lore in a way that only Psych can! 🍍It was a hanging ornament at the festival in the beginning of the ep., in the shot when the family is entering it's right in front of the camera. Trivia: Juliet said that she "needed a kick in the butt" to get going and Shawn replied "I would never kick you in the butt", but in fact he did "kick her in the butt" in the civil war reenactment ep. when Jules was dressed as the nurse and had to go out of the tent, she asked for the boys to kick her because she froze.
