It's a watch-along-only show, same as Agents of SHIELD, which it's temporarily replacing.

That’s what I am asking. Why is it a watch along only show? Are there restrictions being placed that Picture in Picture is not to be shown or something that the creators have decided?

I would guess it's just a matter of time management. This format requires little to none editing on John's part.
