Calculatus Eliminatus

Several things.. As usual, I appreciate your analysis.. I love that for every character, all their experiences in the show, from every season, continue to inform us and expand their character. Showing the Mack is still having after effects from the framework is nice because that even mattered. It shouldn't be forgotten. I know this hasn't been ultra clear, but you should know that "station" and that thing in the remainder of Earth's crust are one and the same. We all thought, at first, that the "station" was a separate place but they have had a couple scenes where the scenery itself, the camera transition and a bit of dialog have let us know that it's all the same thing. As you note about the pace, it's picking up. I've always said that AOS is like a game, first they put the pieces on the board, explain a few of the rules, then the game begin in earnest. They educate the viewer before the true game begins. Finally, Be wary of next weeks thumbnail and take care not to spoil yourself by reading anything.

Loved the reaction! Henry Simmons (Mack) is an incredible actor and is very good at making you feel Mack's pain through is acting. Definitely be careful of next weeks thumbnail though! There is a heavy spoiler in it.

Yes to reiterate everyone’s comment. Avoid the thumbnail if possible. Yes I loved that you picked up on the morality themes here and that theme will echo throughout the seasons.

Loving the reactions as always, and like everyone else I hope you manage to avoid a certain spoiler for next weeks ep. It's a fun one! Fun fact about Jeff Ward who plays Deke; he was originally cast as Virgil who died in the first ep. At the table read everyone really loved him and wanted him to stay on the show longer which led to him being cast as Deke! Minor note, I noticed your thumbnail says Episode 3 instead of 4. Not a bother, just wanted to let you know.

Finallyyy getting to keep up with all of you in these watchalongs. Season 5 will always be a tough one to rewatch for me. Whew. I want this show to be canon SO BADD ! Lol
