You didn't watch the recaps?? You idjits! Come on guys, this is a finale! You need to watch them - it's "Carry On My Wayward Son" time! Go back and watch. Go on. I'll wait!  *pauses several minutes* Okay, now. Really enjoyed your reaction. I've never really known what to think about this finale. I feel they didn't really stick the landing this time. Possibly it just had too much to do, and should have been a two-parter. To have such a long part of a finale spent on a sort of dream sequence of one character is a bit lop-sided.  And like you say, we're missing a beat between Sam waking up and him showing up to help Dean and Bobby. And it's the final nail in the coffin of anyone still thinking Soulless!Sam was a better hunter. Sam killed an innocent hostage without qualms and without remorse in order to get his quarry. He would have done it again - and probably, he did. And until Dean rescued him, the 'real' Sam was still in Hell, suffering. But Soulless!Sam was a lot of fun to spend time with! The Cas and Crowley scenes are definitely highlights - immaculate.   But it's really sad - a pyrrhic victory for Cas. He has beaten Raphael, but lost his friends and himself. And Sam's wall is down. Season 7 will have to deal with the fall out of this episode in some way. There were those who hated the concept of this plotline. They did not want to see Cas go bad. He was my favourite character (after Dean), so I wasn't a fan of it. But I did think it was a good story. Looking back at it now, I appreciate it more. No, Kripke didn't leave - he was still involved, but more in a consulting position. I believe he did leave completely after this point, though. I adore Erica Cerra. She's a wonderful actress (as well as beautiful and with that amazing voice). If you need any more incentive to watch Eureka, let that be one, as she is a major character there.  And you should watch the recap at the beginning of a season too. Beginning and end will both have no spoiler effect and are great montages. Sorry for the long comment!

I Would Suggest Watching The Recap For The First And Last Episode Of Every Season, There Are Also A Few More Episodes That Would Be Cool If You Watched The Recap But I'm Sure People Will Let You Know When You're About To Get To One
