After seeing a bit of Jim Carrey as the Riddler the other day, Cory Smith does so much more, with less. I like the subtleties in his facial expressions and the tone of his voice. This episode made me think of Memento (even though I'm not a fan of that movie lol). I'll have to get more into this since I've jumped around on episodes.

Hahaha yeah Jim Carrey always felt more like he was going for Joker than Riddler to me. Not the most popular opinion I guess haha, not a big fan of him or Tommy Lee Jones in that movie. I'd say it's definitely worth checking out the rest of the show though! Not just because of the reactions lol, but it is a pretty damn cool take on the mythology overall.

I think that is the best way to describe Carrey's version of it! Sadly I'm not a TLJ fan most of the time (esp. in No Country for Old Man, ugh). Definitely looking into the rest of the show! It's so wild to me, to see Monaghan as anyone other than Ian on Shameless! He's great though, as is RLT as Oswald, and truthfully any other eccentric character that he has been. Casting has a great effect on my experience and I look forward to sticking with this one :)

Riddler throwing that woman out the window is actually a reference to Batman Forever when Jim Carrey tied up his boss at Wayne Enterprises in a chair and threw him out a window to die.
