Thanks for your question, CHASE GARDNER!!!

This felt like a decent opportunity to give a little update on our selection process as we'll be selecting some new series soon (once Death Note concludes, MHA goes on hiatus, etc.).  Start thinkin' about what ya might wanna see!!!

Whats popular and whats good can sometimes differ tho, especially in anime. Also Attack on TItan and MHA are the most popular shows in recent years and you guys covered that. And I know you want a show that would be attractive to other people who subbed to your patreon. But for the love of god dont watch DBZ , it is a grandfather of the genre basically but its long , full of fillers with questionable animation quality and i dont get me started on actual writing lol. Also it every year theres two or 3 shows that get super popular and the rest just exist , even if the quality is there . Last year the two show that come to my mind are Demon Slayer which is insanely popular and has amazing direction and production values with really mediocre run of the mill writing for me personally it was really hard to watch due to how generic character writing was and how stupid dialogue was . The other one is Vinland Saga , its done by same studio as Attack on TItan its also different genre than there rest of anime you watched . Its seinen, so basically its targeted towards 20 year olds and up. Also its one of the best written historical fiction manga and one of the better anime adaptations . Its also probably one of my all time favorite magna so I am biased as fuck . Theres also Mob Psycho S2 which is well received critcally and commercially , course you will need to watch s1. I am not the biggest fan , but its very well made series with fantastic animation and art and has a lot of heart. The other show that I hear alot about is Promised neverland , but i have yet to watch it so i really cant comment . All i know that manga is well received and people like the adaptation. I personally dont keep up with whats new and hot , i usually wait when the whole season comes out and then try watching if interested in premise or visual style . There are few older shows that are really really well received and were popular at the time . Haikyuu is probably the second best sports show and 4th season is aring now . Its about high school volleyball. I cannot recommend this enough . Its just fantastic all around and a good feels show . Psycho Pass is another seinen thats , its like minority report the anime . Closest comparison for you guys would be death not, since both shows deal with crime . Tho Psycho pass is less flashy and quite a bit more grounded, tho it does not shy away from actual violence and ugliness of crimes due to its age rating. I also think it has better written characters than death note. tho not as engaging plot and scheming . The other one Is Fate Zero, its like battle royale in modern world but with mages and hisorical legends . The animation and action is fantastic , the studio has a very distinct blend of 2d and 3d which works really well. Tho my fav part is more philosophical appraoch to how people see war and thematic elements about these heroic legends . Its also seinen, so theres a lot of really fucked up shit , lol. Basically these are the shows that immediately come to my mind when i recommend anime to people who are still new to anime . Also these are also still action or semi action shows , I dont know if slife of life or just regular romance /drama shows are what you want now . Also I think you were talking about Beast stars? I heard a lot of good things about it , but have yet to watch it

The one anime I grew up watching was Naruto. Probably my favorite story in all of anime. The one I watched last year was fire force. The animation in that show is really awesome the fight sequences are really different compared to the most popular anime. I have not finished it yet but been watching demon Slayer. And the other shows that are most popular beside DBZ, is one piece

Well I'm not good at dissecting movies or shows but once u guys fin one I recommend The Rising of the Shield Hero it's a fantasy story about a a normal guy who gets pulled into a fantasy word that's similar to RPGs it's humourous and a little gritty the story is compelling and intense character's are interesting some are questionable it's one of my top favorite animes would love to see this on here but we'll see and it was the Dub of the show I saw

I grew up with naruto bleach, dbz and ruruoni kenshin and first 3 seasons of digimon. While Dbz was the grandfather of the genre , naruto just was right place right time for teenage me. Theres a lot of stuff to like about it and its pretty iconic, but the more it goes the worse it gets and thats a real shame .
