Said: "You deserve to be happy" -- this sounds overly simple but I needed to hear it, because I struggled to find it for such a long time, and when I did, it was worth celebrating. Done: Took me into their home, free of charge when I had nowhere else to go. -- One of the lowest points in my life, and the kindness that I truly needed came through :)

Aww, no I feel ya! Sometimes a concept as simple as that (and one we can often easily apply to other people) can be so much harder to allow for ourselves. Really happy to hear you were so fortunate at such a crucial time - even though it still must've been tough. Glad things are better now - never lose sight of that mantra! :)
