After watching the review for Terminator Dark Fate I’m wondering if the events of Rise of the Machines and Dark Fate never took place what would you pitch for Terminator 3?Also would you bring Edward Furlong back as “John Connor” or would you recast Furlong?

Devin Lavoie - 

After reading what the plot was for terminator dark fate, and being thoroughly disappointed, what would you have done for a sequel to T2? Also side question, have you watched the show Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles? I believe it's the best T3 we have gotten. The effects can be dated, but I remember it being well liked before it was cancelled after season 2. I recommend looking into it if you havent.

Thank you for the video! Also interestingly enough Sarah Connor Chronicles starts with both Sarah and John on the run from the law. They use fake IDs(with the last name Reese which i think is cool) and basically they introduce the idea that Skynet sent back more terminators that basically act as sleeper agents, hiding out and waiting for information on the whereabouts of John. I think it also does a good job with expanding elements of the lore. For instance, the terminators have a way of getting back to the future after theyve completed their mission.

Oooh, interesting! The more I/we hear about it, the more I feel like I ought'a check it out at some point. I guess the showrunner there had a hand in the scripting for Dark Fate as well, so even though we didn't love that, it's cool to see them acknowledging the show. And no problem! Thanks for the question :)
