Hi guys, thanks! Though Kirk refers to the h-bomb the doomsday machince was actually more like the proposed nuclear ramjet cruise missiles theorized at the time. https://youtu.be/DZHONQAMV48 (Thankfully neither the USSR or US built.) "Balance of Terror" is another episode you may enjoy from ST:TOS. A reworking of the surface ship vs submarine introducing the cloaking device to Si-Fi.

No problem, man! Was cool getting to go finally jump into the series. Appreciate the supplemental video as well, this stuff is a unique mix of horrifying and fascinating. Also the recommendation! Kinda crazy to think the cloaking device isn't that old a sci-fi invention (at least onscreen).
