Love your thoughts on the episode John. This is the Simmons episode. (Although it could be seen as a FitzSimmons part one episode) She has had the least development of the team so this episode is here to highlight how important she is. FitzSimmons is very much a brother sister type relationship (as we saw in the beginning when Fitz flirted with Skye ) but this episode shows that Fitz cares a lot for Simmons enough to risk his Health to save her. This episode also changed the way Fitz views Simmons. (That ending with him after she kissed him) There will always be more the one characters story in an episode but she was the main focus character wise as she was the one solving the main problem. She was willing to jump to save the team. This episode is what made me decide to continue this series and 6 seasons later I’m glad I did.

Appreciate that, man! Having recorded the next one, I can now see what you mean being a sorta Part 1 to a mini FitzSimmons saga. But yeah, looking back this is deeefinitely Jemma's episode. Nice to get some development around her. Curious still as to what's at work beneath the surface with them, those subtle little notes that hang in-between, but I definitely grabbed a more brother/sister type of vibe. I can see why this would've been the one to truly hook you. I've been having a lot of fun so far. Excited to put up the next!!
