Glad you liked the needles lol. This is Coulson’s episode. By that I mean the focus is on who he is as a character. He use to be more by the book “I told you so” type of person but he’s changed. He doesn’t easily give up on people and he sees value were others may not. He cares alot about shield. Which is why he couldn’t believe his student betrayed Shield. More pieces to the puzzle were revealed this episode and even a clue that I will tell you about when you reach episode 16. Even though coulson didn’t have as much solo scenes it’s very much about him and his student and the plot surrounding that. The next episodes are similar in that it’s the character focus that determines whose episode it is. You will understand by next episode.

2021-07-15 05:06:48 Uggghhh haha, SO much cringing lol. Gotta love a good needle sequence 😅😰 Really like your take on this episode, though. Can definitely see those aspects highlighted here. Kinda cool the way it's still an ensemble operation, but the bulk of the character stuff, as you pointed out, is with Coulson. Gonna keep my eyes peeled for that sensibility moving forward. ...and clues as well! Definitely another aspect I'm excited for as the show continues. Gotta imagine if they laced the movies with all those clues & easter-eggs, AOS has gotta have some of that in their own bag of tricks as well.. Appreciate your insight as always, mate! Lookin' forward to #5!

Yes. They filmed in Stockholm for most of the episode. The scenes where they are in Belarus were also filmed in Sweden.

Yes..It was in the news back then. It's not often that Sweden appears in American TV series or movies, so it was fun to see Stockholm.

Some of the alien writing on the wall is actually Skrull language from the comics. Obviously this was just an easter egg at the time, however it has become canon because the Skrulls came to Earth in the 1990s have proliferated across the world since then.
