Given how many years ago this was, and how busy you guys are now, I’m sure you won’t see this comment, but I still want to leave it. Out of every reactor I’ve ever seen watching the show, you are the ONLY ones to notice the issue with Leorio (why didn’t he notice there were no real injuries?) 😂😂😂😂😂

Manga started in 98 so it has quite different sensibilities and focus compared to most modern anime in the genre. It has that old school adventure feel imo with some sort of lesson at that end. Also like mentioned, it takes its time when it comes to character fleshing out and world building

I said this above, but I actually get kinda excited for stuff like this - catching shows from different phases of the medium & the world and feeling the differences in sensibility and all that. I guess I get more worried people will be bored watching along with slower shows, but as a viewer it's nice to mix it up haha.
