I always felt like the"lessons" of the episode were that not all spirits are bad or start out bad etc, etc...but also about accepting death, accepting that it's your time to go. Which ties in with a few other episodes this season

And I'm not caught up yet but God I hope you're skipping the recaps! I don't mind readjusting the stream along personally. They spoil some episodes with the recaps and they don't start being smart with them until like season 10 or something lol it took the a while to learn to hide things like the guest stars and avoid showing certain things in the recap.
