Mumen rider doesn't have any power he's just a regular guy trying to be a hero. When all the B & C rank hero's were running away from the city he charged in. Also he was the one to send Saitama the thank you letter.

Interesting fact. One punch man originally is a web comic, it got so popular that professional manga artist who is known for amazing drawing/panels started re drawing all those crude web comics into actual mainstream manga. Its one of the reasons the show looks so good, because animators and artist could rely on key frame and imagery from that manga . And mumen rider is just a regular guy and AFAIK majority of C rank heroes are just normal people without super powers

A) Thanks for clearing that up B) I noticed that when I was editing the highlights. I put a text there but forgot to insert it in on the stream along! Either way thank you!

Mumen Rider is actually my favorite character in this series and I love the moment they gave him. He's just a guy with a bike and he's still stepping up against these impossible odds. It's hard not to respect his desire to protect people despite having no powers and no strength. I think Saitama understands that and sees Mumen Rider as an equal.

That is pretty interesting! Been looking up some of the original panels haha, love the way they managed to keep the spirit of a lot of the original designs while making some much needed updates lol. And good to know! Apparently he is a very popular character haha.

2021-07-15 05:14:42 I can see why haha, was a little confused at first, but I do love the way they showcase just how strong his drive & motivation is. Even if he doesn't have the powers, he definitely has the heroism mentality, so makes sense yeah that Saitama would offer up some respect that way.
