I love this song and video! The song itself, I can just really feel the emotions in the rap parts and the vocal parts. You def have seen the trainyard setting, it was used in the INU mv. In the behind the scenes for this mv RM said the goal of TMBMIL Pt. 2 and Run is to show that there are still bright sides to youth. That in the process of “running” through life, you might fall or screw up, but in the end it will be ok. *cue Taehyung resurfacing at the end* (Also he really did fall backwards into a tank of water on a soundstage for this!) It was very quickly shown, but written on the wall to the left of where they were spray painting Jin it said “Wasted Youth Enter The Void” There was also a direct parallel shot in this mv and the INU mv. In INU, right as Taehyung starts hitting his dad, you see a brief shot of Jungkook walking into traffic in front of a car (from the driver’s POV). And in this vid at the very end, he’s seen in front of a car from the driver’s POV, again, but if you notice there’s only 5 members in front of the car plus Jungkook. Jin is the one not being shown, so it’s likely he’s the one behind the wheel at the end of this vid.

Thanks so much! BTS is great. If you look at the ending scene with the Polaroid again then you may notice something. It's so cool that you're reacting to them. :D

BTS brings life! Kept tabs on you'd for a long time for random nerdy things but had to become a patreon for more kpop and for supernatural

Ahhh, that's right! I'm gonna have to go back and revisit some of these videos haha 😅Loved that visual of the void, though. Glad to hear folks are still puttin' the good, old-fashion water tanks to use!! Some classic movie magic. I like that sentiment a lot, though! And I think the video does a good job with that juxtaposition of tones - the parts where things go a little overboard which are then sort of resolved when the group comes back together during the more fun or joyous interludes. And yeah, definitely a spirited performance all around! Feel like I ought'a watch these each a couple times just to pick up the finer nuances, but I enjoy how the videos reference and intersect with each other; the way the different scenarios flip or you get another character's perspective on something we've seen before. I feel like someday there's a gonna be a class somewhere dedicated to deconstructing all of this lol. MUST remember to pay close attention to the polaroids each time - appreciate you shedding some light on that as well 😊

No problem!! Been enjoying my journey through their catalog quite a bit, so far 😊and definitely gotta keep an eye out for the polaroids, I have learned. Had to go back and look haha, but I see it now. Glad you're enjoying the vids!!

The good thing is, you can enjoy listening to them without knowing all the theories and backstories, etc. but it does make it a more interesting experience! And definitely there could be a course on them, I could probably write a thesis at this point. Lol
