You shouldn't have to worry there will be some politics added and some human drama but everything in this show always leads back to the titans you will end of up loving season 3 in the long run I am a manga reader and at first glance the human drama was a little bit different of a take but knowing what comes later you won't have to worry

That would be me :) And yes this half of season 3 is very human-centric with some cool elements about the history of this world. I felt pretty much the same when watching these ep's the first time. However, like Adam said, it works in the long run.

People complained that the manga's pacing was to slow during this arc thats why they decided to speed it up for the anime. Also don't know if you caught the Levi last name namedrop, we never got it before and its a very particular name.

I think Attack on Titan is quite notorious for raising questions to which you won't get answers until later on in the story (like really far away). Just be aware of this and enjoy what we have for now. 😂 I just caught up with the manga as well so many of my questions have already been answered. I couldn't wait 2-3 years for the anime man!

Hahaha good to know, I'll keep that in mind. And I don't blame you!!! I've heard they changed some of the pacing from the manga for the show, but is it pretty close overall?

Well, I only checked out the manga starting from the end of Ep. 12 of this season, so I don't know what the difference is for these episodes. But I'd say the anime will surely have faster pace in Season 4. I say this because the next arc is really slow imo. Takes about 10 chapters to get going. Not gonna lie, I was a bit bored reading them but in the end the payoff was sooooo worth it (typical AoT 😉).
