So your criticism about Midoriya . I get that and I agree. The thing is , usually authors write main characters like that because these are the most digestible types of archetypes for younger audiences. Especially in battle shounen genre. And for me a lot of times main cast overshadows MC just due to how basic and one layered these main characters are . Like you cannot hates MC like Midoriya or Naruto or Goku , right? But you wish they had more layers and flaws. And in Midoriyas case, more confidence . But again, theres a reason why characters like him are popular, it works majority of the time. As for Todoroki, finally his backstory was revealed . And I like tragic backstories so much, lol. And it shows another side of this superhero thing, It is not all rainbows and bunnies, theres a lot of fucked up shit happening around it. And Endeavour is a real piece of work.

Yeah, seriously! Very curious to see Todoroki (and Endeavor, for that matter) develop. And was definitely gratifying to get a significant slice of backstory for more newly-focal member of the ensemble. I think we're definitely with you on the dark & tragic backstories haha. And makes sense about Midoriya. I suppose it would stunt the journey a bit if he were more confident by now.. That core characteristic, I suppose, does balance out the insane power he's been given too haha. Makes sense as well when considering what range of viewers this is intended for (I think it's sometimes easy to forget that when we're getting caught up in the show). He can be a bit "c'mon, man, get yourself together!!" for us some of the time, but I think easier to see his growth as a character during the more intense and immediate moments. Still, though.. glad we're not completely alone on this haha 😅

Hahaha Bakugo is so delightfully rageful. Plus it always sounds like the guy who does his voice is just going all-out having a blast screaming at everyone lol. Definitely got some Kacchan love in this corner.
