Yay! I can't believe you guys have gotten this far. (btw that intro roleplay had me laughing lmao) As far as your question in the video description, I think my favorite episode is ep 12 of this season (Next season its ep 10 lol) I think that seeing some serious scenarios introduced really got me hooked into the show and seeing Bakugo actually showing a bit of growth as a hero is what made ep 12 my favorite. (I've realized that while Bakugo's personality doesn't change, his attitude around being a hero shows the most development. I think that's why he tends to grow on people while his personality doesn't change aaall that much. And his personality is just hilarious sometimes lol) P.S. The outro start lyrics: 冴えない僕と僕を囲む世界で (Saenai boku to boku wo kakomu sekai de)

Great Reaction guys cant wait for season 2! There is a spinoff manga called Boku no hero academia - illegals which is about vigilantes in the mha world. Also in episode one they said most children develop their quirk by age 4 and it will be either the fathers or mothers or some combination of the 2.

Excited for more development of the side characters in season 2? Haha.

The movie has current characters with flashbacks to prime all might.

Episode 12 of course! A lot happens in season 2 since there's 25 episodes to look forward to. Come to think of it, you guys might be able to go see the movie when it's released in the states just in time after you're done with season 2. It's official that the movie takes place after season 2 and before season 3, so at least there wouldn't be any confusion.

Haha yessss, and we're glad we stuck with it!! Appreciate you transcribing the song here as well :P DEFINITELY wound up appreciating Bakugo more by the end of the season - that's a cool distinction about him, with his attitude toward heroism changing even if his personality is relatively steady. Episode 12 is a great choice!! Probably the most intense one of the whole season - deeefinitely was not expecting that back when we were first starting on this haha. Excited to hop into season 2!! And don't worry... I'm sure there'll be more roleplay in the future 😝😂

Thanks so much, Ryan!! Really glad you've been enjoying and appreciate you bringing that bit of context back around :) Would definitely be curious to know how the vigilante aspect figures into this world. Hadn't directly thought about it, but it would definitely make sense that some people wouldn't wanna operate within the bounds of the system. Wonder if they'll wind up adapting that as well at any point... 🤔

Oooh, that'd be awesome!! I read that they're going to be screening it at Comic Con, but haven't heard any official release details beyond that. If we can get through season 2 fast enough haha 😅 it'd be awesome to check out the movie in sequence with the show. Who knows? Maybe even do a watch-along for it here when it's out on home video 🤔

that was a competent wrap up and a good build up towards next season. IDK how US netflix names episodes for S2. Since theres a recap one that you guys should skip it, if its even on netflix. It called either ep 0 or 13.5

Ahh, good to know - thanks for the heads up, man! Unfortunately, I don't think we get it on Netflix here (Hulu, maybe?), but either way, we'll try n remember to keep an eye out for that episode. And glad you enjoyed the episode overall! Didn't know exactly where we'd wind up from the start of the season, but definitely enjoyed the intensity of the last few episodes, especially. Excited to see what S2 has to offer!

I think its on crunchyroll? Have you ever used that streaming service before?, maybe on amazon prime? I have no idea how US is with anime distribution. While I had a lot of issues with S1 , without spoiling anything just gonna say that S2 improves on a couple fronts and tries to fix some of the issues i had with s1

thereelrejects

Not bad! Can definitely see some room for improvement with this show, so that's nice to be able to look forward to. I know we can get Crunchyroll - I think our main hesitation there is just wanting to make sure we're gonna use it a ton before adding an additional streaming service on top of the ones we already pay for). Although, since we've at least been doing MHA through Amazon, it may prove cost-efficient sooner than later. Definitely gonna look into some of these options before hopping into season 2!
