When it comes to the criticism some people have of the idea of all the villains being too old never really bothered me. knowing that we're not gonna get to see an actual batman fighting these characters made the age gap kind of irrelevant for me. I just think its fun seeing these new and different incarnations of these characters really refreshing fun and interesting. But that's just me haha

You know I thought about that whilst editing this specific video. I've read comics where they're just different time periods, characters are at different ages, and you make a good point about how we wont be seeing Batman fighting these guys so it's really not a bother. It's just like watching a different variation of these comic characters

Your criticisms of Edward and Barbara are addressed later on in the season; they get quite the character arcs. In fact, Babara becomes one of my favorites starting from Season 2.
