I'm excited and yet not for the Obi-Wan movie. I love Obi-Wan as a character and I'm hoping that Ewan McGregor will be coming back to play him, but at the same time I'd sort of like to see a Star Wars movie about some new characters. I just don't want to constantly get these spinoff movies about characters that we know. Broaden the universe a little. The director intrigues me. The pieces they're lining up so far sound good. I will be there first showing, opening night for this, as I am for every Star Wars movie, but there is part of me that wishes this was a movie about a character that we'd never heard of before. And please, please, don't make a Yoda movie. Please. Patty Jenkins back for Wonder Woman 2 only makes sense. She delivered the only thing that's been good about the DCEU and not bringing her back would be a horrible mistake. Female directors get so few opportunites as it is, and for her to have knocked it out of the park the way she did the first time around, I'm happy for her getting paid and getting what she deserves the second time around. Now I patiently await the official announcements, and the actual movie, because honestly, I still don't trust DC/WB not to screw this up somehow.

Thanks for watching, really appreciate the feedback!! :) I don't think we could agree more haha. Obi Wan sounds like an alright idea, I can see the potential there, but generally speaking I'd much rather they keep expanding and doing new things instead of mining deeper into characters we already know. And I'm definitely with you on WB/DC. It's gonna take a good amount of consistency before I have any real trust in whatever things they're trying to do.
