Child's play wrapped up its franchise better than nightmare, so I'm basing it off of that. Freddy is definitely more iconic, but the Chucky franchise is better all the way through. *IMPO*

So, Little Alice was justFreddy playing, but i get how you could think this would mean more. This was the first MTV style Freddy when it all got a bit camp, but still fun. The script was not complete when they were filming, a lot was written on the day of shooting. New Line wanted to get it out so fast that they had no time (same with part 5). A lot of the FX back in the day were tried out on this franchise before going forward in another movies. And the big ending with all the souls trying to get out of Freddy etc, you should really look in to how they did it, it's Crazy. Great reaction.

Oh and the mechanical device was something Sheila made for Debs to help keep bugs away because she hated them. Nothing hugely important.

This just reminded me, that I *do* like *a lot* of this movie....despite everything........... But that's the Nightmare Series in a nutshell TBH ; Fantastic ideas, so so execution *carried* by Robert 🤷‍♂️

Its Freddy all the way!!!! Chucky is damn joke. He is stupid. The series gets roasted to the ground. I'm not saying Freddy does not go down that road abit too but too but you ask all die-hard horror fans...The MOUNT RUSHMORE OF HORROR is Freddy, Jason ,Michael and most say Leatherface!!!
