One of the artists I commissioned seems to have a rather quick turnaround, but after the initial sketch they found out that Howleen is 14 years old. Guess I should have mentioned that when I made the request, but usually artists don't say they draw loli unless they mean hentai loli. Plus I'm of the opinion that teenagers aren't considered loli. Eh...

If you want to check out their other artwork, she goes by Obakawaii on Hentai Foundry.

She has agreed to finish the sketch for $20. I'll share the link when they're done. The style is rather simple, but beautiful in its own right. Here's one of her Rainbow Sketch Wing-It examples:

Maybe I'm just weird, but I think all her sketches look better than the more advanced, full color images she draws. I mean.. just look at this:

Am I crazy or is that better than 90% of her full color stuff? Admittedly it might not go well with the rest of the stuff in FSA, but I think a different game stylized in that art direction would be amazing!

Unfortunately I am getting the feeling that she may refuse to do any future commissions from me. I've been getting this weird, unwanted, caugh-with-hand-in-the-cookie-jar type feeling since her last email.

I'm going to change up Howleen's look, description, etc.. to some extent and rename her to Pawletta. Pawletta will be 18 (cuz I say so!). This should avoid anything like this happening again with future commissions.

I also had a similar incident with Late Night Sexy Comics. We were discussing the details of a sex animation and the commission, and they happened to mention not wanting to do loli, shota, rape. Rape? Oops! Well FSA is full of that, so I had to point it out. I then asked if they could do a sketch (Howleen, fully clothed or nude, their preference, and also said the image wouldn't be used in any game). Anyway... It's been like 3 days and no reply yet. Blacklisted? Probably. I seem to have a knack for pi**ing off artists. Yay~

But maybe (maybe?) I'm just reading too much into all this silence. I do tend to think the worst when I am left in the dark.

Something else weird. Like 90% of the artists get sick (or have some other kind of tragedy) after I contact them about a commission. I don't believe in bad luck, curses, and such, but it's kinda freaking me out! xP
Maybe I should include "Get Well Soon!" cards with my commission requests. Then again, they would probably think it's an allusion to sending them a computer virus.
