Nathan glanced over at Chris, Liam and Jack then back at the small army of giggling girls running toward the pools scattered around the strange location Sin had brought everyone. “Cards?”

Liam pulled his attention off Patricia and Kimberly’s cute underwear clad behinds, “What?”

“I asked if you wanted to play cards.”

“I don’t have a deck,” Liam replied absently as his gaze jumped back to Patricia and Kimberly as they wiggled out of their underwear.

Chris turned to look as Sin appeared near them with a pair of bushy haired girls. “Hermione.”

The older of the two Hermione like girls turned and smiled at Chris. “Chris.” She gestured at her sister, “This is my sister Puck.”

Puck waved then stared as she realized there were a bunch of naked girls scattered around the rather strange area. “Where are we?”

“Our home away from home,” Hermione replied with a touch of amusement.

Puck said, “None of your letters mentioned a nudist colony.”

Hermione shifted uncomfortably. It wasn’t like she wouldn’t have told her sister about the place if she’d remembered it growing up. “Not really something you put in a letter.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll introduce you to everyone.” Chris gestured toward Jack, Nathan and Liam in turn, “Let’s start with my good friends, Jack o’Shadows, Nathan o’Shadows and Liam Summers.” He gestured at Hermione then Puck. “Hermione and Puck Granger.”

Jack smiled at Puck and Hermione then took a bow. “Always a pleasure to make the acquaintance of such lovely girls.”

Sin smirked at her son. “Don’t have too much fun, I need to grab some more people.”

“Have fun Mom.” Jack gestured toward the pools as Sin orbed away. “Shall we make the rounds?”

Puck asked in disbelief, “Mom?”

“She’s older than she looks,” Jack admitted.

Puck turned to look at her sister. “Spill.”

Hermione had to laugh as she noticed the determined look on her alternate’s face. “Don’t look at me, I’m a bit out of the loop.”

Nathan said, “Some of our parents were in a magical accident that reduced their ages.”

“None of the books mentioned something like that being possible,” Puck complained.

“There is more to life than books,” Liam gestured toward one of the pools where Amy and Amelia were kissing Victoria. “Like that.”

Puck’s eyes widened. “Are they twins?”

Nathan rolled his eyes. “You’ll get used to it.”

“Right…” Puck trailed off not sure what to say but not wanting to embarrass her sister by making a scene even though she had a bunch of questions about her sister’s friends.

“Let’s introduce everyone.” Chris had a feeling that it was going to be an interesting week.

“Sounds good,” Hermione replied as she followed Chris so he could introduce everyone. She was looking forward to getting to know all of the munchkins turned children.

Chris stopped at one of the pools. “Ladies, let me introduce Puck and Hermione Granger.”

Willow smiled at Hermione. “It’s good to see you again.”

Hermione asked, “Willow?”

“It’s good to see you Hermione.” Willow grinned as she reached over and patted Belladonna on the head. “This is my daughter Belladonna.”

“Most people just call me Bella,” Bella explained with a touch of exasperation.

Foxglove said, “I’m Foxglove, Tara is my Mother.” as she gestured at Tara.

Puck glanced between the girls, she could certainly see a family resemblance though Bella and Foxglove looked a bit like Jack, Nathan and Liam as well. “How do you know each other?”

Bella said, “We grew up together in America.”

Foxglove grinned. “Bella and I have the same father.”

“That explains why you sort of look the same,” Puck admitted.

Jack smiled as Amelia walked over. “Hey, Amelia.”

Amelia turned to look at Jack with a smile on her face. “How can you tell?”

Jack gestured toward the table with refreshments that someone had set up where Amy was talking to one of the other girls. “Amy wouldn’t have walked over to introduce herself without prompting.”

“Guilty as charged.” Amelia held her hand out toward Puck. “Amelia Lavere.”

Puck reached out and shook her hand. “Puck Granger.”

Amelia quickly used her biokinesis to give the girl a physical and increase her attraction toward cute girls before she let go of her hand. “Pleasure to meet you.”

Puck’s gaze dropped to the other girl’s perky little breasts then her crotch before she pulled them back to her face. “Pleased to meet you.”

Hermione shook her head slightly at the faint blush on her sister’s face. “You can flirt later, we should finish our introductions.”

“I’m looking forward to it.” Amelia grinned as she turned and headed off to mingle with a spring in her step. She wanted to make sure all of the girls were at least bisexual before one of the other adults started handing out the anti transfiguration trinkets that kept her powers from tweaking people. ‘Hopefully, I can talk Hermione and Puck into a threesome or maybe a foursome with Amy.’

Puck stared at Amelia as the naked girl walked off. “I wasn’t flirting, I was just being polite.”

Willow spoke up, “Don’t worry about it, she’s like that with everyone female.”

Nathan rolled his eyes. “At least she’s not as bad as Jack’s mother, she flirts with everyone.”

“She’s not that bad,” Jack defended his mother. Sure, she liked flirting but other than family and close friends, she never did more than flirt so he didn’t see what the problem was. Besides, flirting with cute girls was fun.

Foxglove said, “Come back once you’ve met everyone I want to hear stories about growing up in England.”

Puck said, “Of course.”

Hermione was delighted that the rest of the introductions went off without a hitch and that her sister was having a wonderful time. Strangely enough having an older sibling had helped grind off some of Puck’s edges which was probably for the best considering she’d been a know it all the first time around.

Albus frowned slightly as he glanced around the empty hall in the prison world Mist had created so they could take a look at the wards on the school without alerting his evil counterpart. “It seems deserted without the portraits and ghosts.”

“You’ll get used to it, probably. I’m a touch surprised the portraits are alive enough that they don’t show up.” Mist glanced at the moving staircases. “At least we know the staircases don’t have a mind of their own.”

“I’ve often wondered,” Albus admitted.

“How long do you think it will take to untangle the wards?” Mist asked as he watched the moving stairs.

“A couple of minutes or a couple of hours. As much as it might seem like it on the surface, the two systems of magic aren’t the same except some of the basics.”

“In that case, I’m going to loot his office while you work.”

“That’s as good a place as any to work on the wards.” Albus orbed the two of them near the door to his office. “Lemon drop…” he trailed off as he realized that the gargoyle that should have been guarding the stairs was missing. “Ah, that makes it easier.”

“All the same, I’ll let you go first.”

Albus smiled slightly as they walked up the stairs and into the headmaster’s room. His smile slipped off his face as he realized just how much the office looked like his own had while he was headmaster. “A few more trinkets but it’s disturbingly close to how I had my office set up.”

“More than a little creepy,” Mist admitted.

Albus gestured toward a hidden door in the wall. “If the office is like mine was, there should be a library behind the hidden door and possibly some books in his chambers.”

Mist turned and used his X-ray vision to look past the wall and examine the man’s library. He wasn’t terribly surprised to find an entire collection of old and presumably rare books lining the shelves in the concealed library. “Hermione is going to be happy.”

“More like over the moon.” Albus had to admit that he was looking forward to reading his counterpart’s collection of rare books.

Mist focused on the hidden door. “Considering the sheer number of curses and defensive spells on the hidden door, I think your alternate might be a little unhinged.”

“For many reasons.” Albus adjusted his glasses then got to work trying to figure out what his insane alternate did with the wards that were supposed to protect Hogwarts.

Mist walked over and started siphoning the defensive spells on the door as he didn’t feel like trying to ‘properly’ curse break it. “We’re going to need a new defense and potions teacher by the time we’re done.”

“Don’t forget history, I suffered through Binns once, I’m not doing it again,” Albus replied as he continued studying the wards.

“Why did you keep him?”

“Because the governors expressed their displeasure rather firmly the first and last time I brought up replacing him, they liked not having to pay him. Considering it makes a decent study hall if you’re wearing earplugs, I decided to cut my loses.”

“I’ll keep that in mind if we can’t relocate Binns or get him to move on.” Mist smiled as the last of the charms on the door fell apart. “That should do it.” He used his X-ray vision to check the door and the frame around the door. “I’m almost disappointed that there aren’t physical traps.”

“I’m assuming he felt the various magical protections sufficient.” Albus scowled as he noticed the way most of the wards had been twisted. “He’s repurposed most of the wards to feed him information. We’re going to want to kill him from outside of Hogwarts.”

“Would Hogsmeade work?”

“That should be far enough, the wards don’t extend that far. There is a limit to how much a person can process at once.” He frowned slightly as he thought about Taylor’s power. “At least most people.”

“In that case, I’ll deal with Dumblemort if you want to deal with Moody?”

Albus sighed as he thought about his old friend and wondered what had turned him into an insane hit wizard in this world. “I’ll deal with him.”

“Sounds good.” Mist orbed them back to the hotel in the real world so they could run discuss their options with Umy.

Harry looked up from his book as Hermione walked over with a younger version of her. “How was your summer?”

Hermione smiled as she glanced between Harry and Scarlet who were sprawled out next to each other on an air mattress. “Not too bad, we just got back from France a couple of days ago and I’ve been reading my textbooks, you?”

“Hanging out with Edward and Laura and the rest of the clan.” Harry turned and smiled at Puck. “How many of Hermione’s old books have you read?”

Puck pulled her attention off Scarlet’s naked behind and back to Harry. “All of them, I’m a little annoyed that we can’t use magic over the summer to practice.”

Scarlet twisted around so that she could look at Hermione and Puck without straining her neck. “Speaking of practicing, we’re not in England right now which means we could practice if you want.”

“Really?” Puck asked with excitement.

“Sure,” Scarlet replied as she rolled off the mat and stood up.

“Where do you keep your wand?” Puck blurted.

Scarlet snickered. “Where do you think I keep it?”

Hermione shook her head. “I’m guessing an invisible holster on your arm.”

Scarlet stuck her tongue out at Hermione as she pulled her wand out of her concealed holster on her left arm. “Spoilsport.”

Puck blushed as she found her gaze dropping to Scarlet’s breasts, she wasn’t sure what was wrong with her tonight but Scarlet was certainly cute, everyone here was cute or better. She glanced around at where the various other children had set up mattresses to catch some sleep or just sprawl while they chatted. “Where do you want to practice?”

“Let’s try to find a clear spot.” Scarlet grinned as she headed toward the edge of the tiny island. She wasn’t sure where exactly her father’s island was but he’d assured her that they could practice magic without the ministry finding out which meant that she could help Puck and maybe make a new friend.

Harry watched Scarlet and Puck wander off. “She’s almost as hyper as Aisha. So, how are you really doing?”

Hermione smiled as she walked over and sat down on the mattress. “Adjusting, it’s nice to have a sister but it’s a bit weird now that I know she’s another version of me or might have been if I hadn’t been around. How are you doing?”

“Good, Edward wasn’t raised by the Dursleys so we’re enough different that he’s more like my little brother than my alternate.”

“Does that mean he doesn’t like flying?”

Harry laughed. “Oh hell no, he’s a speed demon, worse than I ever was.”

“Great, on the upside, Gryffindor should be a shoo in for the cup this year.”

“Hopefully. I’m just trying to take things one day at a time and not freak out about the fact that my daughters are currently older than I am, at least physically.”

“Older and hot as hell?” Hermione asked with amusement.

Harry grumbled, “I need a shotgun.”

“Or a shovel?”

“That’s not helping.”

“Does that mean I can’t seduce them?” Hermione teased only half serious.

“Just don’t break their hearts but seriously, do we have a plan for dealing with Voldemort?”

“Sin mentioned that Mist and Albus were going to deal with things in the morning.”

“In other words we get to be lazy?” Harry asked hopefully.

Hermione looked down her nose at Harry. “No, it means we get to study and make sure everyone has all of the perks and abilities they need for dealing with Hogwarts.”

“Eh, I guess you have a point.” He wanted to make sure everyone had both versions of enhanced mastery they could hand out, mental defenses, death magic protection, a method of teleporting that wasn’t stopped by wards and at least some enhanced durability before he sent them to Hogwarts. He looked up as Patricia and Kimberly walked up. “What’s up?”

Pat said, “We’re out of pizza Dad, can you teleport somewhere and get more?”

“Please?” Kim asked hopefully.

Harry twisted around so that he was sitting on the ‘edge’ of the mattress rather than lying down and conjured a large rocky road ice cream cone in each hand. “How about ice cream?”

Kim snickered as she quickly grabbed her cone at the same time as her half sister and cousin. “That’s an acceptable substitute for pizza, thank you.”

Pat said, “Love you.”

Hermione smiled as she watched the two giggling naked girls turn and hurry off to eat their ice cream. “At least they’re cute.”

Harry sighed. “I have a sinking feeling I’m going to have to kill Ron if he ends up in Gryffindor.”

“Oh?”

“Did you read the fic?”

“Not yet, I’ve been running around with Puck and haven’t had the time.”

“Yeah, this Ron makes ours look like James Bond.” He pulled a printed copy of Partially Kissed Hero and handed it to her.

She winced. “Ouch, the twins?”

Harry shrugged. “About the same as our world as far as I can tell if not better at potions.”

She used her magic to instantly read the story to get an overview. “Gah, what the hell is wrong with him?”

“No idea. Thankfully, Edward isn’t The Boy That Lived which means Ron shouldn’t have a reason to try to make friends with him. Either way, I’m a second year so I won’t have to put up with his snoring regardless.”

“For the best.“ Hermione flopped down on the air mattress. “So much for a nice quiet vacation.”

“Don’t worry, once we deal with Voldemort and Dumbledore, we’ll be able to relax and have fun.”

“Hopefully.”

Harry wasn’t all that worried about Voldemort or Dumbledore, worst case they’d just stay in the Slice of Heaven and practice and play videogames for a year.

Mist twitched and pulled his telepathic ‘fingers’ away from Dumblemort’s mind. ‘Fucking hell, yeah he’s evil.’ The fact that the man could look like a kind old man rather than the insane raving lunatic he was, was a tribute to the man’s acting coaches. He was just glad that it was early enough in the morning that most people weren’t out and about in Hogsmeade. Not that it would have mattered as he was floating twenty feet off the ground using his X-ray vision while invisible but on the off chance that he screwed up, he didn’t want to leave witnesses. Then again if he screwed up, he’d just cancel the dragon break and try again.

He pulled a silver plate out of his inventory then teleported it into Dumblemort’s neck. He watched as his head fell off the plate and his body collapsed then started leaking blood all over his desk. “I should have used a sticking charm…” Mist trailed off as he got access to the other man’s memories and his skill at dueling. ‘At least they’re in a mental file I can look through rather than just scattered in my memories.’ He mentally paged through the file until he found the location of the other Horcruxes. ‘I guess that means I don’t need Snape.’ He quickly scanned the castle and smiled when he found Snape in the dungeons with a rather surprised look on his face. ‘The wards must have alerted him to Dumblemort’s death.’

He pulled the cardboard box of silverware he’d picked up from the junk store out of his inventory. He picked out a slightly bent fork and teleported it into the man’s calf. He smiled grimly as he watched Snape stumble and scream. He picked up a knife and teleported it into Snape’s other foot so that half of it was sticking out then teleported a spoon into his ass then a fork into his left hand then a knife into his elbow. He worked on the rest of the set as Snape tried to crawl toward the hospital wing while screaming in agony. He frowned slightly as he got the man’s potion making skills when he accidently teleported a fork into his heart rather than just his chest thanks to the man’s twitching. “Ah well, such is life.”

Mist knew that he really shouldn’t take satisfaction in killing the bastard but he was a monster and the world was most assuredly better off with him dead. He turned his attention toward the library. ‘And there she goes.’ He followed the librarian with his gaze as she headed toward the secret chamber that contained one of Dumblemort’s horcruxes.

He waited until she walked into the chamber and took the horcrux out of its hiding place then teleported her and the horcrux to the ground under him. He hit her with a quick stunner as she started to reach for the horcrux then levitated the horcrux into the air and hit it with a thin beam of balefire. He smiled as the object vanished as if it had never been. “That makes things easier.”

He floated down and placed his hand on her forehead and started siphoning Dumblemort’s various compulsion spells and charms. Thankfully it didn’t take more than twenty seconds for all of the spells on her to collapse. He teleported her back to the library on one of the couches when she started to wake up. He focused on his avatar that he’d left with Albus. “Dumblemort, Pince and Snape are dealt with. I’m not sure how much Pince will remember.”

“I’ll deal with Moody.” Albus headed toward the bar where Moody was meeting a contact.

Mist let the avatar vanish then used Dumblemort’s memory of Godric’s Hollow to dark whisper to outside of the man’s house and wards. He tipped his head down slightly so that he could look over his magical sunglasses and look at the house. He frowned slightly as he saw an empty lot rather than the semi translucent house his glasses showed him. ‘Nice cloaking spell.’ He focused on his other avatar that he’d left with Umy. “Drop Aberforth and destroy the horcrux under his bar.”

“With pleasure.” Umy smiled as she walked across the street and into the Hogs head to deal with Aberforth.

Mist let his avatar drop then focused on the avatar he’d left outside of Ollivander’s shop. He walked in and stunned the old man as he turned to see who had just entered his shop. He turned and locked the door then pulled his copy of the skull of corruption out of his inventory. He pointed it at Ollivander and activated it. He lashed out and killed the temporary clone with a front kick before the man could draw his wand and smiled as he got Ollivander's knowledge of wand crafting. He put the skull topped staff back in his inventory then dropped his control of his avatar, he knew his avatar would finish the job of getting the horcrux plate out of the man’s head.

Mist activated his magic detection power then took a step closer to the wards and carefully reached his hand up and out until it was almost touching the wards. He started siphoning the magic from the wards then frowned as everything exploded causing him to take a step back in surprise and annoyance as the house’s wards tried and failed to obliterate him thanks to his magic absorption. “Okay, that’s annoying. Screw it.” He stepped back, raised his hands, tapped into his magic and used his projection power to dispel all of the wards on the house. He smiled as the house went from a ghostly outline to solid as the wards vanished. “That’s more like it.”

Albus felt slightly guilty as he broke Moody’s neck with telekinesis as the man came out of the Knockturn Alley bar. He would have felt worse if he hadn’t spent the last couple of minutes looking through the man’s mind and discovered that the story wasn’t lying about Moody having three Horcruxes or being the personal hit wizard for his alternate. He ignored the startled looking hag as he walked over and picked up Moody’s body and wand. “Don’t worry, we’ll get you to the hospital.”

He apparated to the room he’d rented in the Leaky Cauldron under Fudge’s name. He dropped Moody on the floor and stashed the wand in his inventory then dispelled the illusion he was using to frame Fudge. He wouldn’t have bothered framing Fudge but he’d found out with a little digging that the man took bribes to obliviate people. A quick search of Moody’s body found the device that alerted him when his alternate died as well as the man’s vault key. He grabbed the key and the device then orbed Moody’s magical eye to his hand. He put the items in his inventory then orbed Moody’s body into orbit so no one could recover it.

He pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and dialed Mist’s number.

Mist answered on the second ring. “Any problems?”

“I hit a slight snag, I don’t know the location of Moody’s Horcruxes.”

“I know where to find the one he gave Dumblemort.”

“I know where to ambush his contact for his second Horcrux but his third is in another country with someone he doesn’t remember.”

“He can’t remember the location of his own Horcrux?” Mist asked in annoyance.

“He’s not as confident in his mental defenses as my alternate so he took precautions. He remembers that he has a magical contract and that they’ll bring him back in the event that he stays dead for a certain amount of time but beyond that he doesn’t remember the details.”

“Not really a problem. I’ll join you as soon as I finish looting everything of value from his home.”

“Any trouble with the wards?” Albus asked.

“I ended up just ripping them down,” Mist replied as he finished scanning one of Dumblemort’s devices. He smiled as he got a pattern for a device that detected someone’s death. It wasn’t quite as interesting as the magical cloning chamber design but it might be useful in certain situations like if he wanted to set a dungeon to blow up if the last boss died or even just have a door open if a particular monster died.

“He’s going to know that something went drastically wrong once he’s brought back.”

“I’m hoping that I can prevent him from coming back at all. If we can keep Moody dead, we should have a couple of weeks before Dumblemort’s other contingencies kick in which should give us plenty of time to free Fawkes, remove him from his position at Hogwarts and take advantage of his ability to get various laws passed no matter how stupid they are.” Mist explained as he used his projection power to melt the overly expensive magical cloning device to slag.

“Hopefully. We should work on freeing Trelawny at some point.”

“I’ll take care of that once we’re sure Moody isn’t coming back, I need to borrow some supplies from the munchkins for that.” Mist created an avatar to finish looting the place. “I’m leaving an avatar to deal with the clean up, what room are you in?”

“207,” Albus turned as Mist appeared in a shower of black orbs. He closed his phone and stuck it in his pocket as he asked, “What do you need from the munchkins?”

Mist closed his phone and stuck it in his pocket as he replied, “A copy of the Dryad potion then I need enough time to research at least some of the enhancements they used in the story. The bride’s delight crap is creepy as hell but the rest were rather solid defensive abilities.”

“I’m not sure what they were thinking.”

“Hell if I know, I’m going to blame the mistake with the time turners and the ritual that turned them into fae. Either way, we should head to the graveyard.”

“Agreed.” Albus orbed them to the graveyard to wait for Moody’s contact.

Ginny gulped as a gorgeous naked red haired woman with large black dragon wings stepped out of the darkness in her bedroom. “Mum!” She picked up her desk chair and swung it at the creature that had somehow gotten into her room.

Sin dodged the chair then gestured and froze Ginny from the neck down. “Let’s try this again, without the shouting. My name is Sin and I’m your faerie demon girl.”

“Help! I can’t move!”

Sin orbed the chair Ginny was holding back to where Ginny had grabbed it from. “You can stop shouting, I tossed up a silence spell which means no one can hear us.” She studied the ten year old’s face, despite the understandable look of rage and fear she was still cuter than the Ginny from Harry’s world or the movie version of Ginny.

Ginny decided that playing along might be better for her health if only because it gave her time to think of a way out of her current spot of trouble. “Faerie demon girl?”

“Think faerie godmother, only cuter.”

“Why do you think I need a fairy godmother?”

Sin smirked. “Because your mother is a bit of a control freak and you’re looking at a rather boring and unproductive year without my help.”

Ginny opened her mouth to politely refuse then decided that there wasn’t any harm in asking what she was offering. “What are you offering?”

“That depends on how much you want to pay, I can offer you fantastic skills, more magic, invulnerable skin and powers beyond your imagining.”

“That sounds expensive,” Ginny pointed out.

“Don’t worry, we can work out a payment plan.” Sin smirked.

“What type of payment plan?” Ginny asked almost afraid to find out given the woman’s smirk.

Sin grinned as she conjured a wooden paddle. “The fun type.”

Ginny gulped as she stared at the paddle. “I don’t suppose you have proof that you can give people abilities?”

Sin gestured with her free hand and unfroze Ginny who promptly fell backwards onto her bed because she could suddenly move again. “Hmm, how would you like the ability to open a portal to a land of monsters that you can farm for gold?”

Ginny raised her eyebrows in disbelief. “You expect me to believe that?”

Sin let her paddle vanish then opened a glowing red and white portal to a cow level. “You’re welcome to come see.”

Ginny stared at the glowing red circle in the air. “No tricks?”

“The area behind the portal isn’t the safest but I can keep you safe while we’re there or I can leave and you can go back to your boring summer.”

Ginny frowned slightly as she thought about Luna, it sounded a lot like her friend’s descriptions of strange faerie lands. As much as she didn’t want to admit it, she wasn’t looking forward to being the only one left at home. Maybe she was crazy for even considering going with the strange woman but she had a feeling that if she wanted to hurt her, there wasn’t anything she could do to stop it. “Fine but you’re going to say that you’ll protect me straight out and that you’ll bring me back alive and well in a timely fashion.”

Sin smiled as she tapped her nose. “You’re a smart girl. I promise to protect you while you’re on the other side of the portal and bring you back on time, healthy and alive.” She held her hand out toward Ginny. “Ready to see the other side of life?”

Ginny gulped as she took Sin’s hand then followed her through the portal. She wasn’t expecting to see what looked like a large farm with cows standing on their hind legs in the distance. “What are those?”

“Demonic cows, they’re rather nasty.” Sin used her contractor power on Ginny and gave her exceptional durability then pulled a staff of fireball out of her inventory. “Here, take this.”

“You’re giving me a stick?”

Sin handed Ginny the magical staff. “It’s a magical staff, just point it at the enemy and will it to fire.”

“Right…” Ginny trailed off as a ball of fire sailed out of the end of the staff as fast as a bludger then struck a large group of cow demons and exploded in a large sphere of fire. She winced slightly as the cows she’d hit screamed in pain and anger then charged. “Shit.”

“Do it again!” Sin shouted playfully.

Ginny waved the staff at the cows and was relieved when a second magical ball of fire flew out of the end of it. “It worked!”

“That’s the spirit, once more should finish them off, quickly.” Sin smiled as another fireball flew out and killed the group of cows before they could close the last ten feet. “Never doubted you.”

Ginny stared in disbelief at the gold coins on the ground next to the dead bodies and strange potion bottles with red and blue liquid. “Is that gold?”

“Yep, it’s not even faerie gold. Oh, sweet, it looks like a belt dropped.” Sin giggled as she sauntered over and picked up the belt that had dropped off one of the demonic cows. She blinked as she used her identify power on it. “What the hell? Her first kill and she gets a damned Unique.”

Ginny took a breath to steady her nerves now that she didn’t have cow demons charging her. “That’s because I’m awesome. What did I get?”

“Arachnid Mesh, basically a magical spider silk belt with potion slots that also boosts your abilities or would if you were strong enough to use it.”

Ginny scowled at Sin. “Are you saying I’m weak?”

“Nope, just that you’re ten. It was designed for an adult but don’t worry, I’ve got a work around. You should probably grab the coins on the ground.” Sin waited until Ginny was picking up gold coins then generated a small piece of crystal and duplicated the belt. She put the copy in her inventory.

“What is your workaround and do you have a bag?” Ginny asked hopefully as her pockets were already filling up with gold coins.

“I’ll just move the useful qualities off the belt onto a lighter belt.” Sin pulled an expanded coin purse out of her inventory and tossed it to Ginny.

“It’s made out of spider silk, shouldn’t it be light?”

“You’d think,” Sin complained as she kept her eye out for more demonic cows.

“What else does it do?” Ginny asked suspiciously.

“It increases your defense, slows your targets by 10%, improves your casting speed, increases your available mana and boosts your general skill level.”

“That sounds useful,” Ginny agreed.

Sin nodded. “Very.”

“How much do you want for a version I can use?”

“That depends, would you really be happy with a bag of gold and a magical item? I can give you so much more,” Sin smiled seductively at the girl.

“More?” Ginny asked hesitantly.

“I need someone that likes running dungeons and farming magical items so I’ll make you a deal, if you let me upgrade you, I’ll give you enough power that you could make Merlin look like a squib. You’ll be mine, to play with, to hold, caress and dress for a year and a day, I’ll make you the next best thing to a goddess but you’ll be mine.”

Ginny gulped. “Ah…”

Sin grinned at Ginny. “Of course, you’ll be free to leave at any time but if you leave, you won’t get more upgrades.”

“I can leave at any time?”

“Of course, I’m not a slaver or a monster.”

Ginny wondered if she was crazy for considering Sin’s offer, she was tired of being poor, tired of her mother treating her like a kid just because she was a younger than Ron, never mind the fact that he was a lazy idiot and less responsible than she was. “Deal.”

“Excellent.” Sin turned and tossed an ultima spell at the group of cows she could see in the distance. “In that case, watch and learn.”

Ginny stared in shock as an entire field exploded with black and blue magical energy that left a massive crater where the demonic cows had been. “Merlin!”

“Was nothing compared to what you’ll be.” Sin pulled a skill book for the creepypasta version of flight that let a person fly twice as fast as they could run out of her inventory and made a copy of it. She put the original back and handed Ginny the copy. “Here, open the book and you’ll be able to fly.”

Ginny opened the book and blinked in shock as it vanished and she realized that she knew how to fly. She floated a foot off the ground. “Bloody hell, it worked.”

Sin smirked. “Of course it worked, I’m your demonic fairy godmother. I’ll show you the world if you let me.”

“I’m yours,” Ginny replied hoping that she wasn’t making a huge mistake.

“Excellent, in that case, let’s loot the rest of the cows and then we’ll get you some better equipment.”

“Should I be flying or walking?” Ginny asked.

“Considering they don’t have ranged weapons? Flying is better, at least for now.” While she trusted her contractor power to keep Ginny safe she didn’t see a point in encouraging her to take stupid risks until she could give her a couple of upgrades but she wanted to build up some trust before she gave her a bunch of upgrades. “Let’s clear the rest of the level then I’ll put on some clothes and talk to your mother about hiring you.”

“What are you going to tell my mother?”

“That I’m a rep for a magical prep school and that we’re testing our newest program and need smart witches of the proper age. That should get you out of home schooling and help explain some of the gold you’ll be bringing home.”

“I’m not sure she’ll go for it,” Ginny admitted.

“I can be remarkably persuasive, just leave it to me.” Sin figured all she had to do was toss in a mention of Dumbledore suggesting Ginny because of how amazing the twins and Percy were and she’d agree to just about anything.

Mist felt a shiver go down his spine as he looked down at the dark water of the River Styx from the rocky edge. While he doubted the river could suppress all of his powers and kill him, he wasn’t anxious to find out if he was wrong which was why his real body was back at the hotel and he was ghosting an avatar. “Considering the effort they went to in order to protect the palace on the other side, I’m curious what it’s protecting.”

Umy looked away from the dark water. “Perhaps nothing or perhaps books of ancient and terrible might. It’s hard to say.”

“It’s also not why we’re here,” Albus pointed out.

“Sorry, you’re right. There will be plenty of time to research the place later.” Mist used his mutant telekinesis ability to float a rock out over the water. “That’s harder than it should be.”

“How much harder?” Umy asked warily.

“The rock feels about three hundred pounds,” Mist replied as he floated the rock further out over the river, “and is getting heavier by the second.” He frowned as the rock slipped out of his grasp and dropped into the river with barely a splash. “If I didn’t know better I’d say this place was built by a Builder, the wards are excessive.”

Albus gestured tried to orb a rock across the river. He was more than a little surprised when the rock only made it halfway across before rematerializing and falling into the river. “So much for the easy way.”

“On the upside, we can obviously orb things halfway across which is useful to know. I’ll be right back.” Mist focused on his second avatar which was flying near Nurmengard and took control. He used his X-ray vision to look through the ‘prison’ until he found Grindelwald in an underground complex. He orbed the man into the River Styx and frowned slightly as he got the man’s knowledge of the dark arts as well as an entire lifetime of memories that he could have done without. He turned his attention to the man’s horcrux that was hidden behind a false wall and teleported it in the river. He moved his hand up to his face then took control of his avatar that was near the River Styx. “I dealt with two of Grindelwald's horcruxes, once he respawns, I’ll teleport him back to the river which should deal with his next horcrux and so on until he runs out of horcruxes.”

Umy said, “We should probably set up a detector so we know as soon as he comes back to life.”

“Same thing with Dumblemort and Moody,” Albus grumbled.

Mist turned to look at Albus and Umy. “I should be able to tweak one of the death detectors so it will tell me if they come back to life. Either way, we might as well start working on reforming the school. Do you want me to create minion teachers to cover Potions, Defense and History?”

“Potions and Defense sound good, you’d have to actually know the history from here, wouldn’t you?”

“That’s solvable, I just need to pay Ms. Bagshot a visit first. Five minutes and X-ray vision and she’ll never know I was there.”

Umy grinned as she realized she could do the same thing for Nicholas Flamel and alchemy. “That sounds reasonable. Hell, we could bring in extra teachers for most of the core subjects, having someone able to run a potions lab so the students could get more experience would be awesome. Not having to use a time turner just to take extra classes would be nice.”

Albus said, “We could also use a dueling instructor and someone to teach a writing and penmanship class.”

“From what you said, we can probably use the lozenges for penmanship considering they teach reading and writing but teaching them how to write reports would be useful.”

Mist shrugged. “I know some of the muggleborn would appreciate continuing their education with math and science, not to mention various electives like art and woodshop would add some variety to everyone’s schedule.”

Albus shook his head. “I know Hogwarts has plenty of empty classrooms but we’d have to get the governors to sign off on paying the extra teachers.”

“Not a problem, Dumblemort had a lot of blackmail material on the governors, all you’d need to say is that you have arranged a grant to update the school and they should approve it. If not, I’ll take care of the governors.”

Albus looked down his nose at Mist. “Take care of?”

“I was thinking about bribing and or blackmailing them to get them to appoint people that we select.” Mist glanced back at the river.

“That would certainly help,” Albus admitted as he thought about the collection of hide bound pureblood traditionalists that he had to deal with in his world.

“In that case, let’s head back and see what we can figure out. Umy should be able to draft up a plan to get Hogwarts up to standards while I go deal with the spiders in the forest.”

Umy shifted into her adult form. “Let’s head to Hogwarts and talk to McGonagall about upgrading the school.”

“No time like the present.” Albus orbed back to Hogsmeade with Umy.

Mist dropped his avatars then almost fell backwards out of his chair as he ‘woke’ up to find Sin straddling his legs with her face only a couple of inches away from his. “Gah!”

Sin snickered as she floated backwards then set her feet down. “Hey Master, happy to see me?”

“Almost always.” Mist let his gaze trail down her naked body then pulled his attention back up to her face. “How did your ‘secret’ project go?” He was curious what she’d been giggling about earlier.

“Good, I recruited Ginny and convinced Molly that I run a school for gifted girls and that we’re offering a year of free magical education.”

“Recruited her for what?” Mist asked warily.

“Dungeon runner, test subject and cute redhead.”

“Test subject? Nothing dangerous, I hope?”

Sin shook her head. “Not if you help by using dragon break, I want to dip her in the River Styx.”

“So that she’s indestructible?”

“That’s the general idea, yeah.”

“That sounds really painful, especially when we can just hand out the next best thing with a magical version.”

“The invulnerability power we picked up in Charmed relies on the subject having an internal supply of magic, this doesn’t as far as I’m aware. Besides, it shouldn’t be painful if she’s unconscious. It shouldn’t be hard for Riley or you to whip up a non magical sedative that will keep you under, right?”

“In theory,” Mist admitted.

“Thus why I want you to use Dragon Break to make sure nothing horrible happens, like her dying or going insane. If we can get it working once, we can probably just copy it using our power copying abilities.”

“Sadly, probably not. I scanned the river, it’s basically a permanent buff, it’s not a power which means we probably can’t just copy it.”

“Rats, I was sort of hoping you had a work around,” Sin admitted.

“It would be nice. If you really want to push things, we can but honestly, at this point, I can probably do better by casting various buff spells and tweaking the spells so they’re permanent. Besides, if you really want to test the river, just test it on someone that doesn’t matter, like Death Eaters. That way we don’t have to waste the ingredients to fix their minds and we’re not risking Ginny.”

“I can do that,” Sin replied as she thought about how stupid this version of Ron was. “What’s next on the list of things to do?”

“Either monster hunting in the Forbidden Forest or creating teacher minions to cover for the missing teachers.”

“Giant spiders?”

“And the werewolves and vampires that Dumblemort recruited.”

Sin stretched her arms over her head. “If you want to make the minions, I’ll go giant spider hunting.”

Mist glanced down at Sin’s breasts. “Any particular reason you want to go monster hunting?”

“I think it would be a good project for Ginny.”

“Seriously?” Mist asked in disbelief.

“Sure, I can use the Disgaea Main Character ability on her to give her a mana pool, stick her in heavily enchanted gear and give her a magic apocalypse staff so she can blow the spiders up from range.”

“Are you trying to give her a nervous breakdown?”

“Too much?” Sin asked ‘innocently’.

Mist frowned slightly as he tried to figure out if Sin was messing with him or if she was serious about hauling a ten year old into the forbidden forest to hunt giant spiders. “Probably, upgrade her with the Disgaea ability, give her invulnerability with your contractor ability and then give her some decent equipment. Just make sure you keep an eye on her.”

“No problem. Speaking of equipment, can we head back up to the Slice of Heaven? I need you to open a door to the warehouse so I can scan my garden of the mind room.”

“Why?”

“If I’m dunking death eaters, I’m going to need to be able to rebuild their personalities.”

Mist orbed them both up to the slice of heaven then gestured and opened a portal to the warehouse. “Have fun.”

“Thanks.” Sin giggled as she skipped into the warehouse.

Mist created an avatar to warn the children not to mess with the stuff in the warehouse then headed off to find the chest he’d stuck the minion trees in so that he could create the Potions and Defense teachers.
