One of my favorite things about this safe space is being able to share new music with you before I share it with the rest of the world. 

This year I'll be releasing a 6 song ACOUSTIC EP of Funeral For My Past. The title track is attached here for you to enjoy now (and to drag into your iTunes to enjoy forever)! 

In an unexpected twist, producer Paul Moak sat down at the grand piano when we recorded this. I stood and sang for a change. We were kinda just testing it out, but what you hear is the first take we did, live and in the moment!  That's how the best stuff happens when I'm working with Paul.  

Our little secret: The background vocals you hear in this track are the same from the band version on the full album. We pulled the files into this performance afterwards to see how they'd line up - and tada! They did! We got lucky. We immediately felt like they elevated this recording so we kept them!
